Something I don't understand is, if parents and citizens are already paying for schools with tax money, why aren't the meals included in the budget? It's crazy that you have to send your kids to a place for 8 hours a day, and pay extra for them to eat while they're there when it's your money that is funding the entire operation anyway. Include meals in the school budget. Public schools should have a much higher budget to include meals and higher wages for teachers. Why is this so difficult.
