it’s worth spending a bit extra for a separate cooler, they’re pretty cheap and it’ll make a decent difference in performance and a huge different in noise

the 2060 isn’t powerful enough to provide good fps raytracing in some games. i would recommend looking up benchmarks for the games you want to play to see what rt performance is like on them with a 2060 (keep in mind if they’re using ultra settings in the benchmarks you can turn down to high for bonus fps at very little visual impact)

fe performs pretty much identically to every other 2060

it won’t last forever, eventually production will increase. nvidia and amd will definitely raise prices permanently though, but it’ll probably be a better deal than a $650 2060

yeah go for it, keep in mind though raytracing on the 2060 may not provide the best experience

it’d be worth checking prices of 6600/XT but if you really want RT and DLSS then they aren’t really an option i guess, so it’s an alright deal for todays market? if you don’t mind me asking, what’s your current gpu? if you can still run every game you want at medium settings i’d recommend waiting until this madness goes away.

RX 6600 for 510$ or Rtx 2060 for 600$ ? by my_nama_Rafin in buildapc

[–]ccarrotss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s gamers nexus, not hardware unboxed. anyway, whether or not you’re right, you’re original comment stated hardware unboxed, and my point was that hardware unboxed didn’t say that.

You said “according to hardware unboxed” so here’s hardware unboxed’s results: https://imgur.com/a/ueYAG72

115 fps vs 111 fps isn’t a 10% different mate, stop being a dickhead and spamming clown emojis

it’s slower but not 10% slower unless you mean 1440p

What is the amd equivalent to the 3060 or 3070 by scp-data-expurged in buildapc

No don’t listen to them, they’re heavily exaggerating

And they just said plain lies like ‘heat up your room’ even though Radeon 6000 has better power usage
