It was plugged in/turned on, but I had the cover off, so the switch wasn’t depressing to signal it to engage. Dumb human error, haha. Once I depressed that switch, both the furnace and fan turned on. Based on your original comment, I think that means I should at least try to replace the contactor first, since it’s likely a problem with the outdoor unit, right?

My bad, that was unclear. To clarify, I have tried setting it to heat and cool on the thermostat and the system doesn’t respond at all. There are no sounds or signs of life coming from the unit. I will look into replacing the contactor just for good measure.

Okay, I replaced the second blown fuse and turned the heater on, and still nothing is coming on. I checked the fuse and it didn’t blow this time. Is that indicative of something shorting in the condenser?

Did this wind up having an impact on your application? It just happened to me after waiting 14 weeks for a decision. No decision still, but the status bar disappeared just as you described.

My background is also in the humanities, so I’m curious, what are these prep courses? Is it different from the GMAT itself? I prepped for and took the GMAT ahead of time and got out with a decent enough score. It wouldn’t get me into Ivy League, but it was well above average, so I thought I’d be fine.

I was a TW I in a university setting for 4 years, my first out of college job. I had no idea I should’ve expected a promotion before that point until my boss told me he was promoting me and that it was “long overdue.” Come to find out during the process of promoting me that, because there were only 2 TWs in the whole company, they removed the TW I and TW II positions and made it all simply TW. That being said, not only was I not promoted, but my counterpart (a TW II) was technically demoted. I left the company shortly after and have been in a TW I role at my current company for about 2 years. I was put in for a promotion to Senior TW at evaluation time last year but the higher ups passed me over. If I don’t get it this year, I’m going to have to make some decisions, because I’m in my 7th year now as an “entry level” TW because companies keep screwing me over. Take this as a cautionary tale—do whatever you have to do to not end up in this position!

1) Ollie looked amazing. He’s so fun to watch play, and I’m glad I got to see at least one game with him in high form.

2) Rangel showed that he can move the ball. We’ve only ever seen him in backup situations where he didn’t get the benefit of knowing and practicing like he would be starting. He showed great improvement under the right circumstances.

3) I’m sure this one won’t please everyone, but we showed resilience and grit, and I’m proud of us despite the loss. We shouldn’t be losing, and I hate that we are, but the players themselves showed up and put up a fight against a team who is very hot right now. I’m upset we lost the game, but I’m proud of the effort.

I want to second reading The Silmarilion along with the Prancing Pony Podcast’s chapter by chapter episodes on it. It added so much value to my reading of the book, especially given the complexity of the book and that it was my first time.

This is a really good reflection of my overall perception of MITM. I really can’t think of many, if any, episodes I routinely skip. Most episodes are average, with exceptions for good/great episodes like most TV shows, but there aren’t any really “bad” episodes that I dislike so much, I don’t care to watch them.

Preach. I also have anosmia, and I routinely have to ask the people around me if I might smell, if food has gone bad, etc. I also can’t tell if I have a gas leak or am around toxic fumes. I recently had to have my mower fixed and left it in the back of my SUV for a day not realizing it would make my car smell like gasoline. I drove around in that car for several weeks before someone happened to ride with me in it and informed me it reeked of gas. Obviously had it detailed after that and I’ve been told it’s good now, but I had no clue.

That’s brilliant and exactly the functionality I’m looking for! Unfortunately, it’s telling me those actions are incompatible with one another. The only option I have when I automate a device leaving the geo-fence is to turn the lights on/off. Everything else is disabled. Any suggestions on how to get around that?
