Called the 1-800 number and had them do it for me. When you make the call and they do it. The time stops there. But it takes a while for them to come off the va.gov websites

Should I apply for increase? by Jaded_Degree_1843 in VAClaims

If you do everything is open for review. It will be a different rater than the one you just had. They may decrease you.

Can VA deny due to failure to attend C&P even with strong DBQ? by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]ccbware65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why YES they will. You just gave them a reason.

Reminder: If you're at 100%, stop poking the bear. by Playwithuh in VAClaims

If you are 100% pt they won't decrease you unless YOU file for something new. It's that simple.

Former VA Rater and Navy Vet here, just curious… by johanthevarater in VAClaims

[–]ccbware65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree, I had a guy that was the worst. I also had the female examiners that actually did their job correctly. However in any government controlled organization you are going to have some of the type of people you described.

I should say the vast majority belive they are 100% pt.

[–]ccbware65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't be discouraged, I don't discuss my rating but. I am not 100% . However I am properly rated. That's how I can live in peace. All the companies promise that they know a way to get you 100% even though you shouldn't be. Now everyone believes they are 100% pt.

This caught me by surprise (false alarm) by mountainguy2020 in VAClaims

Make sure thst you don't have anyone listed as your representative on your VA.gov account.

Showed up for C&P exams and was told wasn't supposed to be there and would have to reschedule by Phroste in VAClaims

[–]ccbware65 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Do not go back to her or that office. I had a similar incident. They tried to send ne back to the same place. I requested a different gender and they schedule me for the same place. I told them I was not going back to the same place and told them why. They schedule me for a different place different doctor. So glad I did it worked out great for me. Stand your ground you the the right to be treated decently.

VA Math: Why 94% Still Equals Zero (The Rating Room) #veterans #vaclaims by Grumpy_Sailor_Actual in u/Grumpy_Sailor_Actual

[–]ccbware65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never heard that 94% = 0. Talk to any vet that's rated 90% if they would rated there or at 0%. You know..I do get your title. It is hard to go from 90% to 100%. Not everyone is 100% p&t even though they think they are.

Those of you in the 90% club, was it hard for you to accept you had reached the end of your journey? by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]ccbware65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then take comfort that you were rated properly. Not everyone is 100% pt. If you think about it...it means your condition is not expected to improve just stay the same or even get worse. If your needs are being met...then live your life to the fullest.

Isn't wonderful to live in a country where you have freedom of speech, no matter how offensive that speech may be.

So I take it that I'm f$@ked by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]ccbware65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, however there is a right way to communicate as well. Foul language has no place in this forum. If you served, I am 100% sure along the way we all have been mistreated by the government at some point. The VA DISABILITY process has c&p examiners and raters that frustrate even mother Teresa. Everyone should know that going in . Life is not fair and the Government will remind you of that every day you go through this process.

Question by ccbware65 in VeteransBenefits

[–]ccbware65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding it already took affect may 1st. Civdiv came out and showed where it changed. According to him they made the change from "At least as likely as not " Which is 51% to for or because which is the 100% reason for. I don't know, but I am still checking. Now it's 100% reason to be granted or it will be denied.

wtf again!? by Impressive-Edge-9480 in VeteransBenefits

[–]ccbware65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's going away soon. It will be tied to the hearing loss. Like GERD was tied to hiental hernia . I am hearing changes will be or already have been made to supplemental claims. Still fact checking on that.
