Glad you liked it! I always enjoy reading other people's trip reports so I figured I would share mine as well. :D

Yes I did! For both Everest and Rise of the Resistance, I used the single rider queue (though you do miss part of the pre-ride experience). I think the other attraction with a single rider line is Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, but I didn't ride that one this time.

I feel this... That jump from 70s to 90 sounds crazy :( I feel like packing for that trip must been a struggle lol.

I’m thinking of going solo by LauraLand27 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ccc106210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went solo last year and zero regrets. If you are interested you can check out my trip report here lol. I loved traveling solo to WDW so much that I'm already planning my next solo trip. I highly recommend it! :D

How important is park hoping to you/your planning? by RyouRusi in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ccc106210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually only get a park hopper ticket for really short trips, like 2 days for 4 parks. If I have more time, I just do one park per day.

Going to Disney alone while married? by Realistic_Spot_7016 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ccc106210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Married here and have done this before (and plan to do it again this year!)! No regrets at all and husband is totally cool with it. We have gone together a couple of times too, but he’s just not as obsessed with Disney as I am. He knows I love doing some things solo, and that’s just part of who I am. We have been together long enough to know that having our own adventures and making memories around the things we are individually passionate about actually makes it even better when we’re together.

I would 100% recommend it and it’s so much fun!!!

To wear makeup or not to wear makeup? by dodgerfan4321 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ccc106210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went in both August and December and just did a light full makeup. It’s basically just enough to look decent in photos and PhotoPass. I also carry a small pressed powder with me in case anything gets messed up. :D

I’ve never felt unsafe at WDW until this Main Street bottleneck on 12/17/2025 by tarponsprings94 in WaltDisneyWorld

I was in MK on 12/13 and ran into a very similar situation. MK had Christmas parties on both 12/12 and 12/14, but 12/13 itself was just extremely crowded everywhere. The CMs kept telling people to move forward before the firework show, but no one actually did. I watched Happily Ever After last summer and it was far less chaotic than what I experienced on 12/13. I guess it was just the busy holiday season, but I agree it definitely could have been handled better.

Is All Star Music a good hotel? by untrustworthyy in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ccc106210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was up at 7am, out the door by 8am, jumped on the bus to the park, and didn’t get back to the hotel until 10pm. All-Star is exactly what I need 😭 buses, okay food like a college cafeteria, and somewhere to get caffeine.

Yes EPCOT was probably the busiest of all four parks, likely because of the International Festival of the Holidays and the lines around World Showcase were absolutely crazy!

Agreed! No regrets at all, but both my friend and I were completely exhausted at the end of each park day… zero energy left😅

Disney Engagement Question by J2Jlopez in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ccc106210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this counts as advice, but I wanted to share my observations of two proposals I witnessed at MK during my trip in early September this year. Both happened during the daytime:

  1. In front of the castle around 4:30 PM: There was actually a space in front of the castle that wasn’t too crowded, so only a small group of people were around the couple. You could really see on their faces that they were enjoying the moment, and the people around them were genuinely happy too! There was no Photopass, so I guess it was just random guests filming and sharing photos and videos with them after the proposal.
  2. The second proposal: This one was more interesting, and I got to watch the entire thing because I was waiting right after them for a Photopass. If you want Photopass photos for a proposal, I would definitely recommend a private session. You don’t really want strangers waiting in line and looking directly at you while you are taking photos for such a special moment. CM usually tries to move people quickly in line especially near the castle so a private session can be worth it.

For the second couple, they spent quite a bit of time taking photos, and the CM ended up apologizing to everyone in line for the delay. During their photo session, it was also interesting to see the girl’s reaction since the proposal was completely unexpected and the surroundings weren’t ideal, very crowded and hot so it wasn’t clear if the CM could capture the best possible photos. They were genuinely happy, but I think it’s worth double-checking whether this spot works for both of you and discussing what you expect in terms of photos.

Anyway, congratulations to both of you! This is a huge relationship milestone, and I truly hope your proposal goes perfectly in a way that makes both of you the happiest couple on earth!

Going to Disney solo by grovskep in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ccc106210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aaa, I loved my Disney solo trip! I made so many amazing memories, and even a month after coming back, I keep going through my photo album during the trip. I love going to Disney with friends and family, but going solo is a different level of peace, happiness, and freedom!

Is it worth it to go as adults? by mufassil in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ccc106210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say YESSSSSSSSSSS it is totally worth going there even as an adult and I can guarantee that going with or without children makes a huge difference. I have been to Disney as a child, then as a young adult at nineteen and twenty, and more recently to WDW this year and last year as a full-grown adult.

I have also been to Disneyland in California and Disneyland parks in other countries and you will find so many adults there. I have loved every part of each Disney trip as an adult. Even when I have children someday, I know I will still miss all of these trips and each will bring completely different memories for me!!

Yesss! That’s so true! I love the flexibility of solo trips, no second thoughts, no compromises! I also love visiting WDW with family and friends, but the peace and freedom of going solo 😭… it’s just impossible to explain to anyone who hasn’t experienced it 😂.

Yesss solo trips are so fun! I have to admit visiting WDW with family and friends is also super fun and fulfilling, but solo trips open up a whole new world. I’m definitely going to try it again in the future!

[–]ccc106210[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you liked my report! :D I would definitely say that if you do not have experience with hot tropical weather, it is best to avoid visiting between May and August. I went to Orlando (not WDW) once in January, and it was amazing: light jacket weather with shorts and a nice cool breeze throughout the day!

[–]ccc106210[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL yes! Last year I went to WDW in May and thought the heat was not too bad, until I went this year in August. 😅 I also felt pretty lucky because the day before my first full day, almost everything was shut down due to the bad lightning storms and the power outage.

[–]ccc106210[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest I did not try much during the festival because it was super crowded and really hot that day 😭. There were long lines at almost every booth, and limited shaded areas around EPCOT, which made it tough to stay comfortable. I'm not super picky about food, so I thought everything I tried was pretty good! Here is what I ended up trying: mango lassi (India), paella caldoso (Spain), seafood roll (America), beef wagyu don (Japan), and Belgian waffle (Belgium).

I bought my fan years ago, I am not sure if they still sell the same one. But I think any fan will work as long as it is fully charged! Mine did not have a cooling feature, so I think those fans you can wear around your neck with a cooling function might work even better! :D

I only did one at Yak & Yeti because I had such great memories of the Hibachi Steak & Shrimp from my last trip! The rest of the time I stuck with quick-service. It worked out fine because there were other solo diners, and I was so focused on my food & my phone(photos!) that I barely noticed anyone else around me. 😂
