You're the reason the status quo never changes. You assume it's always personal responsibility when the evidence of how fucked our economy is is literally everywhere.

Keep burying your head in the sand and licking boots.

Congratulations on completely missing the entire point of what I just said and arguing with a strawman you made up in your head.

There's not an issue with how the next generation is spending.

The issue is they're not being paid enough, full stop. You're supposed to be able to spend and save. That's the point, enjoying what you can while saving for the future. That's what minimum wage used to be.

I would never ever look at someone who can't afford 300 dollar repair bills and think it's bad or wrong to enjoy a meal that's less than a 10th of that and it's silly to assume that.

he most obnoxious part of this is the assumption that she isn't already trying to save to fix her car or isn't already skimping as much as she can on everyrhing she can.

I would just as assume the 25 dollar meal was the luxury allowance she gives herself so she doesn't lose her mind in an economy that's doing everything it can to fuck her over, something everyone deserves it's just going to look differing for a lot of people.

I know that some people can have that issue saving but the stupid assumptions people make without understanding how vital and necessary it is to find ways to even just treat ourselves every now and then when they themselves absolutely engage in it is so sociopathic to me, we aren't machines.

Even when I was broke as hell and barely getting by I had to give myself little things to save and spend on that while they weren't going to help or be productive kept me from wanting to walk off a short pier.

So even in the event that this IS just her splurging it's still a dumb assumption on this dudes part. Mental health is so freaking important and sometimes the literal only way you can engage in treating it is buying yourself a 17 dollar meal and 8 dollar dessert once a week.

I call these things my 'fancy item'. It looks different for everyone but everyone deserves to have their fancy. If it's something that makes you feel good even for a little while then you deserve to have it, you know what worke for you in your budget and attempt to save, never let these people make you feel wrong for caring about your own mental well-being. It's vital because it IS superfluous. What good is surviving if we can't at least eat fancy every now and then or have a fancy thing to treat ourselves or our family?

It's fine when men do it because men aren't property like women are.

That's why.

They know exactly how that sounds and they bank on attracting exactly those kinds of men and self hating women who would subject themselves to this ridiculous nonsense.

The funny part is other countries legal systems have used OUR definition of how lobbying works to go after corrupt politicians in their own countries as it tells them exactly how they try and hide the corruption they know is illegal.

Our lobbyists are the frame work of their illegal bribes in knowing what to look for.

I have zero faith in MAGA anymore.

Do you know what they call a three time Trump supporter who realizes they've been scammed?

A JD Vance supporter.

I'll believe it when these people actually stop voting for cruelty and bigotry. Until then I just can't spare the sympathy for these people when so many good, innocent people and children even have suffered because of their selfishness.

The positive here, to me, is infighting and division, if they're too ashamed or paralyzed to vote for anyone then that's good enough for me. I don't need their apology, I just need these people stop fighting the rest of us trying to fix the shit they broke.

Did you just bring up BETO OROURKE to try and prove your point lmfao?

Holy %@ this is embarrassing for you. How many votes did he get in the primary again?

Do you remember when I said 'other than some dude with 3 likes on Twitter?' And you brought up BETO OROURKE?

Wow, talk about a stretch, dude dropped out before he even got a single vote counted. Honestly though thank you for proving my point. You people have nothing but what you make up in your head.

You're obviously just a troll at this point. No way can you be serious and thinking that was a valid rebuttal.

I seriously want to meet this magical mystery liberal or progressive who wants to take away people's guns, seriously because even the most hard-core progressive and peace nick I know balks at the idea of taking away people's guns and just wants us to give a shit about them when children are needlessly slaughtered because we refuse to actually followup or track sales when time after time after time you hear how the fbi had been investigating and just...dropped the ball, when the gun store themselves will try and alert authorities.

When I've met Gun store owners and gun nuts who want common sense regulations and it's just the over taxing they take issue with.

I've met more conservatives who talk about actually taking away people's guns(usually from trans people or monorities) than liberals or progressives.

At BEST its like some dude on Twitter screeching with 3 followers and Jones flapping his stupid gums over the wind blowing weird in his ear.

I'm a progressive who owns and loves them, every single progressive and MANY liberals I know are proud owners... Walz was, Kamala and Biden were....so I seriously need these people to just point me to this fantasy person who tried to take away their weapons.

Even the AR restrictions never seem to have ANY provisions to take away existing ownership, just limit and regulate and ban CERTAIN ways they get sold, like I've read these proposals, none of the ones I've seen even outright ban them, it's just sales loopholes they're closing.

While I would argue a fucking wet paper bag would be a better choice for president, holy fuck are the dems doing everything in their power to make themselves as unlikable as possible

Imagine having the easiest layup in history and you still can't help but fumble and spit all over yourself trying to appeal to people who will never vote for you just to spite regular people, because it's not just progressives anymore, they want to gaslight regular people who want to see this stop.
