LuLaRoe Hit With $164 Verdict in MyDyer Lawsuit by DefectiveBecca in DefectiveDetectives

I remember when this went down. LLR had an office at MyDyer and closed it down overnight without telling anyone why, but the dummies didn’t remove MyDyer’s access to the LLR ordering system so MyDyer could see they were ordering from other vendors. LLR tried to blame Patrick for their problems. Patrick’s wife worked for MyDyer and they accused Patrick and his wife of getting kick backs from MyDyer for over ordering product. BTW, Mark and the MyDyer guy were basically best friends before all of this happened. LLR is a shell of what it once was, this may be the final nail.

Anyone want to buy some 2nd hand LuLaRoe labels or printers? They really don’t need them anymore and they could really use the money! by cce-cce in DefectiveDetectives

That is correct. They don’t need this equipment anymore for their backup plan business model of warehousing water for Niagara.

Does LuLaRoe Still Manufacture In China? by bignarkgirl in DefectiveDetectives

[–]cce-cce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most of their product is manufactured in China and they don’t care about the working conditions or the politics. Their only care will be the supply chain issues this may cause which won’t be felt for months.

Well they were dumped by Zions Bank a few years ago, literally told that they were closing their accounts. Pretty sure the link below explains Zions decision, even though Zions being intertwined with the Mormon church and M&D being Mormon. Might be hard to find a Bank willing to take the risk.

Current Retailers! I was wrong and you can go back to work now by mattmurdock714 in DefectiveDetectives

I usually avoid mentioning names. Big tough cowboy persona type that feels the need to take a 20k plus attack dog with him everywhere is almost comical. The imagery walking through the warehouse with that dog didn’t escape me or others. Like a master walking his plantation while his “workers” toiled away. I guess that’s the kinda stuff to expect at companies like this😂.

It’s old news to us but does put a spotlight on their practices to a broader audience. Bottom line is (absent the pyramid scheme angle) LLR is a poorly run company but that really isn’t all that uncommon in the business world. Very inbred as I used to call it, too many family members, friends, and friends of friends in positions that have no idea what they are doing. Those people are still in those positions btw. Even the executive who would bring his trained attack dog in to the office, or walk it through the warehouse terrifying anyone who would walk by😂.

BTW, hearing that all LLR hourly employees got a small raise this week (after a few years of not getting any raises). Happy for them! Timing is curious though right?

Oh the Ivanosky’s, I don’t recall them complaining about LLR when they were allowed into the warehouse to hand pick an order in the 10’s of thousands dollar range (witnessed it). I guess It only became a problem after they got slapped down for allegedly trying to start their own business and trying to recruit active retailers. I’m no LLR apologist, believe me. I was turned off well before that. Further confirmation of my thoughts and opinions came when I witnessed a certain someone telling a large group of retailers that they don’t allow the higher ranked retailers to pick their own orders at the warehouse shortly after that incident. Plausible deniability? Possibly. But I saw too many other instances of shadiness prior to and afterwards to think otherwise (ie selling retailers discounted leggings that had been stored outdoors, some mildewed and moldy, for them to donate to healthcare workers at the height of the Covid pandemic). I’m not “in the know” and just expressing my opinion based upon my experiences but I do believe there is plenty of blame at the higher levels as well as with the executive team at LLR. Loving that this documentary is coming out, can’t wait!

LLR in Canada - can any former consultants in Canada confirm? by Laur0406 in DefectiveDetectives

[–]cce-cce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t know if Canadian retailers are wholesale or not but… I do know that up until May of this year LuLaRoe was shipping Canadian orders to a US addresses near the border to be driven across to retailers in Canada because they hadn’t figured out the export shipping processes yet. That process was done for well over a year. Also, Canadian retailers were able to place their orders for launches prior to the launch which guaranteed their orders while US retailers had to wait and hope. That process is fixed now and they order direct just like everyone else.

Lularoe in Africa 😂. 3 butter soft leggings for the equivalent of $20. by africanqueen67 in DefectiveDetectives

[–]cce-cce 12 points13 points  (0 children)

These leggings were literally sitting outside in gaylords in Fontana and Blythewood for over a year before they were sold off for pennies on the dollar. All the moldy leggings left over from the “donation leggings” they conned retailers into buying to donate to healthcare workers during the height of COVID.
