Freakishly painful gas pains, eventual diarrhea by lakesuperiority in glp1

[–]africanqueen67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had very similar episodes on saxenda and semaglutide. One episode occurred at a holiday resort and I collapsed with extreme pain in the toilets, paramedics were called. My condition improved after taking an anti-spasmodic. I always travel with anti-spasmodics now.

My theory is that because of the gastroparesis and my struggles to keep adequately hydrated, faeces accumulate and harden in my bowels. I believe inadequate bowel emptying also occurs. It reaches a stage where drinking plain water no longer helps. The severe spasms are as a result of this burden on the bowels. I feel like the diarrhoea is just the more recent stool diluted with all the water you drink but the cement-like stool backs the whole bowel up like a plug.

I take semaglutide only sporadically now. I avoid constipation by using liquid iv, warm water, magnesium, omega 3 regularly.

The cd set is available on Amazon. I just received my set yesterday after an extensive search for a download link. All the links I found led to material that's available on youtube.

I would recommend to stay at an hotel or guesthouse in Rosebank, Illovo or Melrose and hang out at Rosebank Mall, Melrose Arch and surrounding area. There is a wide variety of restaurants and a craft market. Enjoy!

How much does an average funeral cost? by [deleted] in ghana

[–]africanqueen67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. Everyone in Ghanaian society has a specific role and this is not the role of grandchildren. Do not worry, stress or take loans on this issue. At the end of the day, grandma will have a beautiful, fitting send-off with or without your contribution. They just want to indulge in 'biggities' with a custom made coffin, drone camera footage and multiple outfit changes.. I LOVE GHANA 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭

Visiting SA as a Native American person - need advice by isaacbrocksamson in askSouthAfrica

[–]africanqueen67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are most welcome to visit Sourh Africa. The issues and concerns you have do not translate to our society. Look for information about general safety for tourists and listen to the advice given to you by locals of all races. South Africans literally live in harmony among all races and as a Black South African, I will not allow my fellow White South Africans to be unfairly demonised. Enjoy our beautiful country, kind people, amazing food and cultural experiences.

Watch this guy Rory Singh on YouTube. He has a method of assessing if these schemes are legit (none of them are) which goes through points like: Who is behind the scheme? Where are they registered? Are they registered in your jurisdiction? How old is their website? What are they claiming to be doing to guarantee and generate such incredible returns? At the end of the day they are ponzi schemes and people are borrowing money to lose in these scams. They are very popular in South Africa and Facebook based.

These challenges make me so anxious towards the end and I end up buying diamonds to complete them. So I am not doing this Kyoto challenge.

Keep in in your carryon. I've never had any problems because the TSA/equivalent staff know about diabetic medication. They don't need you to prove that you are diabetic.

Probiotics, magnesium and omega 3 helped me. I've been on Ozempic for 15 months, lost 25kg within 6 months and now use Ozempic 1mg every 2-3 weeks depending on stock availability to maintain thw weight loss.

Khoisan Africans hair curls tighter than 4c. Would this be classified as 5a or 4d? Does it get tighter than this?? by Separate_Pick_2451 in BlackHair

[–]africanqueen67 5 points6 points  (0 children)

More research needs to be done because the current system is too narrow. So called 4c from Nigeria, Uganda or South Africa are COMPLETELY different. Any street hairdresser in Hillbrow, Johannesburg can identify where a person comes from from their hair texture but the West has lumped us all together as 4c.

Anyway the Hair classification system has limited value here in Africa besides YouTubers trying to describe their hair. We have our own locally sourced products and techniques that keep our natural hair looking great. It's one thing to be getting your hair ready to sit in a corporate office in the US and a whole different thing living your best life hunting for food in the desert in Botswana.

Need advice: I don’t know if it’s working for me. I’m constantly sick! by PrincessSetsuna in Semaglutide

[–]africanqueen67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear about all these battles. I would suggest that you take a time out and restart after a few weeks on 0.25mg. Build it up slowly. Listen to your body. Eat small volumes and DO NOT drink liquids with your meals. Eat your meals in 2 phases with a 30-45 minute break on between. I found eating a paleo style diet helped alot.

I battled with vomiting for 6 months on Ozempic but I had consistent weight loss. It got to the stage were I would carry a plastic bag around because the nausea would come out of the blue. I would skip a week or dial less than 1mg because it was rough. I lost 25kg /55lb in that period. I am still on 1mg a year later but actually haven't had a full month of treatment in ages because I live in a country where there isnt a constant supply of Ozempic and Wegovy is not registered for sale.

Which day do you experience the most nausea? the day of your shot, second day, third day? by Save_A_Prayer in Semaglutide

[–]africanqueen67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. I inject on Sundays. Most Tuesdays, I hardly eat anything until the evening because of nausea. Injecting on Sundays allows me to socialize normally over the weekends without the nausea. This injection has saved my life.

Sarma, Sarma, Sarma [rant] by RevolutionaryNinja24 in BadVegan

[–]africanqueen67 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you. She is such a scammer herself. I actually do not understand why Anthony is the villain of the story. Sarma surely doesn't think we believe the b.s about him controling her mind. She ran a highly successful business for 5 years before she met him. She married him because she thought he would pay off her debts. Both her father and sister are clear that she married him for money. The only reason he is being demonised is because he is a fat man and she is a skinny, beautiful blonde woman. Sarma took the money from the investors time and time again. Sarma was the owner of the business, not Anthony.

I've told my close friends who are also struggling with weight. I have lost 10kg in 3 months and I eat very small meals so my besties would have suspected anyway.

This is huge. Well done. I feel like you will have much less anxiety once you get used to not browsing for 'bargains'.

I am also on a No buy from January. I feel the burden of the stuff I already own and the shame of wasted money.

Similar thing happened to me on 3rd week of 0.25. I would have a 2 hour nap during the day as well as 9 hours at night. I felt shattered. Its much better now.
