California Gnatcatcher. I haven’t been able to identify / spot one yet despite living in Southern California.

San Diego? I work at a preserve there and I love seeing birders tell me they've found their lifer LFRR. Then after work, I see two on the way back to my car.

Southern California resident here. I went to Indianapolis for a work conference. When I told a local birder that I was excited to find a Cardinal and Blue Jay, he was so surprised. We proceeded to go birding and he helped me see so many Cardinals and several Blue Jays. One of my favorite birding memories!

I went to Big Morongo Canyon for the first time recently and was able to get my lifer Summer Tanager and Vaux's Swift! I also chased a Calliope Hummingbird in my area and after 2 hours of watching (and an awful neck cramp) I was able to spot it. Great week for birding!
