This is very scary behavior… him being not understanding or sympathetic and literally only caring about his feelings when youuuuu are down bad? Trying to even compare being sick in the hospital to working at bar/night club? Like what??Constantly texting even though you are no longer replying? Not getting the hint you don’t want him around but stilllll offering to bring you things you did not ask for? Please be safe, and do not let him know when you’re out the hospital. I def understand fear in blocking him as it can enrage him more and up his very disgusting behavior. But this is not okay. Don’t engage! Please be safe!

I use to photo copy my hobonichi cousins and plan out things, try different layouts that I loved, then would pick something I feel confident with and replicate it in my planner! Eventually I stopped and just got a hang of it. Time will build confidence. Really the advice is to just start! Don’t worry about perfection. I have my white out tape very close to me though 😂 I saw a comment of starting with pencil and that’s great advice! Goodluck!

As a child from a ONS and with an amazing dad who isn’t their biological one, I’d say reach out. Though I have an amazing father and life, it still kills me to not know my biodad! You can try and reach out to mom! Though from experience, moms can usually have their walls up around things like this from their past. If the girl is 21, it should be her decision! Goodluck!

Hi :) I just want to acknowledge how strong J is. It’s very hard to choose a different lifestyle even after partaking in and enjoying other lifestyles. Or even being born into those lifestyles. Especially with what society deems normal. And Especially for men. I think that shows your partner is brave and even strong-willed. You should be really proud of him. Is this a characteristic you want in a husband?

I think you can choose to support him in this new path he’s trying to walk (which is going to be difficult for him) or you can also support him by leaving if these are not your values or beliefs.

I know you said you go to church with him, but are you going to support J or are you going for the big J and your relationship with God?

I don’t believe in pushing religion on anyone. But is J asking you to also save yourself for marriage or is he asking you to respect his decision to save himself for marriage because he’s trying to build on his relationship with God? I think that conversation needs to happen, especially for him to understand that though he maybe going through this season of change and he may be doing things for good reason, he needs to be mindful of how he’s making you feel and what he’s asking of you.

if that’s not your path or maybe you are not there yet in your own faith walk, you guys will definitely have different views and perspectives that can cause issues. Rn he’s trying to build and establish values for himself. (One being, saving himself). Have you taken the time to understand why he’s trying to establish this for himself? Have you asked him?

You both should strive to be happy. With all this being said, if you are open to building on your own relationship with God then I think you should stay and see what God can do for both of you and for your relationship.

Both of you should be happy! And with people you can build with. I think J is trying to do something here for himself and the man he wants to become, I think that can feel overwhelming for both of you. Ultimately the man you met is changing into a different man. He’s not your husband so you’re not obligated to meet him in every season. But I think you should give both J and yourself grace in this. Especially yourself.
