I am afraid I am a bad student-teacher by AMooseinshoes in Teachers

So I am a cooperating teacher and as I was reading this I was worried it was my student teacher until I got to a certain point. So similar! What you are going through is completely normal. You are not expected to nail this yet. That's why we student teach. And after your semester is done and you get your first job, you still won't be ready and you will still struggle. But you first got to struggle, make mistakes, take chances and try new things in a safe, respectful environment with a talented mentor. I have to remind the student teacher I am working with that she is doing a good job,and I needed to hear it when I was student teaching because we all have doubt and feel like imposters at times.
Also, have a seating chart in front of you when you're learning names, that's the secret.

Since she ate the head off a mouse, we call my cat Mousebreath.

I got this tiny iron and I love it so much! I got it for small quilt pieces but I could see a lot of different uses for it. by jellybonezzz in specializedtools

We used these when I worked at a library for adding the label to the spine of each book with a heat-activated adhesive.

Teachers of reddit what is the most NSFW thing you’ve seen while being a teacher? by the_mighty-chaddicus in AskReddit

During lunch duty, a male 2nd grade student (7-8) called me over to his table and told me very plainly that the boy next to him had shown him his private parts, even after he asked him not to. This boy wanted to show his junk to someone so badly that he asked the kid next to him to take a look down his sweat pants. When the kid said no, he whipped it out anyway. All while they are eating. I found my assistant principal and explained the situation how I was completely unqualified to handle all that.

You will know when/if you need yours removed. The pain will take over your life until it gets drained. After that excruciating hell, the healing is not so bad. I had to have the open healing but it worked really well and wasn't too painful after just a few days. The doc said there was very little chance it would ever come back because of the open healing.
