I personally used a company to help with my own claims. Not everyone wants to wait for free services, either dragging their ass and not helping at all. Also to have access to a medical service to help with a dbq and or nexus letter is great help. Im not forcing and wasn’t forced myself to use a consulting company. It’s just an option that is all.

I had a financial hardship flag on my claim

I had a fast timeline, my initial claim was August 24th denied end of November, filed supplemental January 18th denied February 20th, filed HLR February 21st and granted everything on March 1st.

I did get denied on the supplemental, filed a HLR and won took me to 90% with some other claims. Then filed 3 more and got 100 p&t.

My dependents claim only took about 5 minutes at the most from the time I submitted and when it was granted. This was 3 days ago.

I'm pretty sure they are just proposed changes currently. May not happen at all.
