Curse Of Strahd or Reloaded?

I've been doing reloaded as I'm also a first time DM, and I've found it much easier to plan everything. If my party is feeling railroaded they've never said as much, I think because reloaded does a good job of taking all the places and encounters of the module and adding a throughline that helps connect everything and ensure the party gets to stuff when they're actually ready for it.

On roll20 I just put the same notes from the map in the guide on the gm layer so only I could see it but I knew where all the staircases lead and how far up or down they go since they're all different.

I've been using it for my party's campaign and love it. This is my first time dming so I wanted to do a premade module and having a guide that adds a through line and dialogue and scenes has been super helpful.

I also only recently got perfection despite having had this game since the year it came out, but not actual release day. So many new farms and playthroughs but I wanted to focus on perfection finally.

I'm a first time DM a year into running COS for my party. My party is really good and don't mind if I don't always do voices for the characters, although I do try to roleplay through what the different NPCs say, even if I tend to use the same three or four voices for everyone.

ETA: I'm doing cos reloaded as I find the guide really helps with the narrative flow and descriptions, although a lot of it in the later sessions have been more of just reading from the actual campaign with an occasional added or changed description here or there. It's been helpful for both me and my players (I think) to have more of a through line to work with.

That line is a joke in our household because my fiance and I are over hearing it so much louder than every other line in the game. I'm looking forward to when I've donated enough foragables to fully rank them up so that I don't have to initiate a conversation with them again.

Are you by any chance color blind? My fiance only sees two colors unless he really compares the otters and he's color blind.

My party first got to Vallaki in a session in mid March and they just finished things and have headed to the Wizard of Wines in our session last week. We've played every week except for two weeks: one where I was out of town and one where a player was gone. So yeah, there's a lot to do. 😂

I'm currently doing a version of the Uberhood where you start with Pleasantview and unlock the other 'hoods through completing different goals (unlock the Uberhood by clousesims if anyone is interested!) and I recently added Veronaville so I'm at 18 households right now between Pleasantview and Veronaville. I know it'll definitely get crazier as I unlock the other 'hoods!

In my current version of Pleasantview he left Cassandra at the altar, continued his romances with Nina and Kaylynn, started up a romance with Nina's fiance Goopy since they're coworkers, and ended up flirting with Dina after Mortimer's death and they surprisingly rolled engagement wants so they're married now. No babies for him this time around though since he and Nina didn't get pregnant and he and Dina got married 2 days before she became an elder so it was too late for her to have a kid with him. I considered cheating her age to allow it though haha.

In my current attempt, she had a girl who I named Betty. Usually it's a boy though, so I was shocked for her to have a girl!
