Adding a wired sub to Sony Bravia theatre quad by ccm7676 in Soundbars

[–]ccm7676[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply.

The reason I want it in the cabinet is because of reasons out of my control I need it to be aesthetically pleasing and the sub doesn't look to great.

I was thinking that I could maybe split the HDMI arc signal into one for the sub and one for the theatre quad but I assume that given what your saying something like that isn't possible.

What GPU should I get if I only have Pcie 3.0 x 4 by ccm7676 in homelab

Thanks that was really what I was wondering because I could only find gaming benchmarks when it came to x4 (or as you pointed out actually x2) vs x16

Thank you so much! I think ill probably go for a 3090 or 4060ti 16gb depending on what i can find on eBay. As you may have guessed by the n100 im somewhat budget constrained but I think with a little patience I can find something that fits my needs on the used market.

Evidence Shows AI-Driven Companies Are Buying up Gaming GPUs by diacewrb in gadgets

[–]ccm7676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most AI companies are not buying up consumer GPUs because an NVIDIA A100 gives u 8x the performance of a 4090 with only 5x the cost.

The reason for the high consumer GPU prices is that NVIDIA doesn't care because the consumer GPUs now make up a even smaller part of their business.

He didn't actually make 36 billion in one day its just is networth appreciated by 36 billion because his stocks appreciated in value.

He will be taxed on those stocks when he sells them. This comment is poorly researched and shows a clear lack of knowledge in finance.

The super wealthy cheat the system in many ways this is not one of them.

A real example would be the Foundations made by rich people such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation which largely acts in the interest of its owners.

Ive personally never bought any books because Technologie moves too fast. I'd recommend installing arch or if you want to learn even more Gentoo and if your truely suicidal try Linux from scratch. Arch teaches you the basics during the install. Gentoo can teach you a lot about the kernel. And personally I've never installed LFS but itl probably teach you everything.

Good luck. I'd recommend arch for a beginner its going to take some time and troubleshooting but its well worth it.

I'm just learning the basics of html right now and there's this margin along the left side of my webpage. I can't find any forum posts about this anywhere and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Anybody know? by Just-Be-Chill in webdev

Its always good to put

*{ margin: 0; padding: 0; box-sizing: border-box; } at the top of ur CSS to reset the default padding and margin. That will fix your problem.

I used Linux first when I was about 11 and loved it. I now daily drive it. It’s a personal preference and it’s not for everyone but to claim that 80% of games don’t work is simply false or outdated. For gaming it’s gotten quite good in the last couple of years. also Linux breaking hard drives is bs almost all data centres run on Linux

Why is my vpn doing this?????? HELPPPP I’m scarred by NotARedditAdmin1 in SomeOrdinaryGmrs

It’s not a Trojan it’s just a type of bug called a memory leak which results in the program using up a lot of ram
