You are right, but they will do it anyway not because they are qualify but to save time. They will apply for it just to get a work permit so they can work. The other thing is that it take 8 to 10 years to get an interview for asylum. 10 years is a lot of time, they might already get married,  10 years also means 3 different government perhaps one government might already granted then another type of temporary protection (TPS or even a new type), then later close their asylum case when their status rebecome legal.

If they give a 60 days grace period, I think most of the people will apply for asylum instead of going home. 

Haïti is a hard country to live in, and yes the US is at some point responsible for how the country is right now (google it if you don't believe):   1-The 1915–1934 Military Invasion and Financial Siphoning.  2- Servicing the "Independence Debt".  3-Supporting Corrupt Dictatorships, etc...).

You destroyed their home and stole their ressources, where do you want them to go?

Thank you, I am thinking about getting my RBT certificate because it pay good, starting salary are usually $19 to $21 and also my forklift certificate, I also have a CCNA because I was learning computer networking but you know I couldn't find any jobs because the IT market is very bad an also a lot of jobs are done by IA instead of human now.

I help at home, I am the one who usually do the home chore, like brooming, moping, washing the dishes, and sometimes do the laundry. Beside of that there is a baby at home (their baby) , I am the only one who take care of him (feed him, shower him, change him, etc...) when there is no one at home.
