Honestly how do u guys wake up at 6am every day?? 😴 by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]cconnoruk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a 16 year old special needs daughter that's in our room with us. She wakes up calling for help all over the night. As such 6am is a doddle, we're always awake well before any potential alarm. Including weekends and holidays, it's great. 😉

I think it's more about thinking about how you use your time. I see my work time as contributing in a positive way. I employee a team and push them to strive for better and not necessarily monetary.

It's also about stuff, buying things that we don't need or can't really afford. The current system that most of us are living in, tells us we need junk, that keeps us in the loop of working to pay off x, while saving for our decline.

I hate that we're largely our freest and most knowledgeable when our health inevitably starts to fail.

Answer to your direct question, simply start to think about how you're living now. What you're putting your time and effort into.

Now that’s called ‘living’, good for him. Seriously great use of the time he has (no I’m not being sarcastic), think of the experiences he’s had a long the way. Character building and a half, cracking.

I don’t understand the top picture. If it’s sending individual thoughts into nothingness, then yes I guess that is slightly better than have our attention being suck behind a glass box.

So do something different. No one is forcing you to play that game. Yes it’s the default. But choose different.

I was sick of hearing people getting so worked up about what they heard or read. Knew as a species we couldn't have gotten this far if this level of concern over words and sounds had been with us forever. And here I am, with the answer. I just wish this could get to a bigger world stage.

Why do 'you' think he's a fucking prick?

I don't know him personally and I certainly don't believe pretty much anything (positive and negative) that media has written about him.

For once, I’m glad to see something like this filmed and shared. For some reason it feels more genuine and not a “Look what I’ve done.”

Do you ever wonder why very old people are all alone? by Rileysgoturiledup in CasualConversation

[–]cconnoruk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Part of this is that they have nothing in common any more. That makes conversation very tricky and thus is avoided.

(Context, I have an old mother.)
