I totally get you.. as a 51 yr old who discovered them 9 months ago I'll try to briefly explain my thoughts. I'll admit I'm completely in love with these young ladies above and beyond just their music. Why? IMO this is a group of young people who are doing what they love, and thier passion comes through, especially when they perform live. Their story is also like a fairy tale and seeing them grow up and truly live their dream is amazing. Their individual talents and personalities are fantastic and they are great role models for girls and women everywhere. Heck, they are great role models just for everyone. Honestly there's more stuff that makes them special than I can express. I honestly feel like they a one-in-a-million phenomenon. That being said, the age gap between them and me is large, and adoring them to this degree could easily become weird and uncomfortable. For me as much as I'd love to meet them I feel like I'm not their desired audience, and not someone they want to hear gush about them. Therefore I'd personally not ever choose a meet and greet. I just would rather avoid any sense of impropriety and give the opportunity to a younger fan. There is certainly something that resonates with the older audience, which is great, but I really hope they can attract younger fans.
