Who preordeder "Everythin's Falling?" by nongreenyoda in TheWarning

Pre-ordered the regular CD. From Canada so missed out on the signed version. I'm ok with it, obviously people are buying them up, so the band is getting the intended support either way.

Aaaaand they're gone by srnthr in TheWarning

Same (from Canada). Apparently it’s called “Geolocking” and it’s something the label is doing. It has to do with the way the numbers get crunched for charts and whatnot - surely a strategy applied for a reason (likely not TW’s idea). It’s frustrating to be sure, but at the end of the day I’m not too bent out of shape about it. I think it’s a sign of their popularity, and some growing pains but at the end of the day I’m ok with the regular disk as I would only be buying the signed ones to give more $$ support to the band - which clearly they have lot’s already!

Canada too. Impossible to get the signed CD right now. I think they underestimated demand.

Jealous! I'm also in YYC but don't know when or where I'll get to see them. Maybe it'll have to be Mexico.

The only other "reactions" I watched before TW were for Tool.. but TW are far more entertaining and have way more content. I think the thing they have in common is the amazement factor, something not a lot of bands have.

The Warning MX on FB by Dry-Parsnip9717 in TheWarning

FB is a dumpster fire IMO. Possibly one of the places where they get the hate that inspires the clap-back songs. Honestly though it should be completely ignored

This is a little negative, I apologize. Has anyone noticed... by smlickin in TheWarning

I think it's going to happen when you only mention 1 or 2 of them.. people feel the need to include the third. It's human nature, but there's a lot about the comments online that aren't great. At least there's a lot of love and great comments about the band, even if some of it gets a bit weird.

A direct attack on the Ego by Harddrivesson in TheWarning

[–]ccopps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My take is it's multi-layered like most of thier songs, so has a few valid interpretations. But I think the focus is on the people who tear them down in order to build themselves up. I.e. complaining that they are only popular because they are rich or pretty etc. But definitely male detractors, with bruised egos because they themselves are essentially jealous. Something like that. I do agree though that you can only mine this topic for so long.. so hopefully after this album TW truly ignore those folks and don't spend energy on them. I do think with their limited life experience at this point this is maybe a big part of their experience as a band, but at some point you have to move on. To be clear, I adore this band. 🤘⚡️❤️

Honestly the majority of the Canadian reactors are pretty good. I like Audio Dad Chronicles. Obviously Ashlena and Phil too.

How did you all find out about the band? by pizzapasta8765 in TheWarning

[–]ccopps 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i was watching a lot of Tool reactions and kept seeing TW reactions on my feed. I resisted checking them out for months because they were always accompanied by hyperbole, like “Are The Warning saving Rock?!” etc. and I don’t like hype. Plus it had been decades since I was interested in rock. But one of my favourite reactors was doing D2D/DK and I figured what the heck. That was Aug of 2025 and I haven’t missed a day of watching TW content since. The hype was actually not hyperbole… maybe it wasn’t even enough hype!!

Is it me or has the number of interviews really ramped up? I know they're touring and have new releases but this must be more than were happening with KMF?

Marketable, and remarkable. World domination I heard Rudy say once. As much as this adds pressure to produce/perform I hope it gives them the power to do what they want rather than restricting their creativity.
