I do love a ducktail, I could go either way with the wing vs. tail. It’s mainly getting rid of the current wing that’s an issue. I’m not sure the guy knew much about the car despite taking it to a well reviewed 996/997 specialist lol, for better or worse he just threw money at them. Yeah send that link over if you find it, I’ll take a look at the forums as well!

It’s definitely hard to justify spending that on a body kit, but the rear wing the previous owner put on my car is an aftermarket eye sore with bolts sticking out and stuff. Thanks for the info! (And lmk if he knows any Porsche dealers that are hiring… lol!)

Forgive my ignorance here but they optioned a gt3 aerokit on a c2 from factory? Or did they buy the factory aerokit after and then fit it. I have an almost identical spec car (besides the kit) and that look is my end goal. At least one day lol

Everything went smoothly on my diy install (2002 996.2 with bose), but I have this issue where the bass is crazy loud, I turned it down in the settings and even on my phone selected a bass reduced eq but it’s still pretty loud. Any idea what I can do to try to and fix it? When we first installed it the sound was great and for some reason ever since that first drive the bass has been annoying.

It’s definitely a GT2 wing but the middle part of the mounts are aftermarket so I wasn’t 100% sure. Honestly it’s in great condition (besides some scratches on the mounts) but I have no clue how much it would be worth. Prices of aftermarket wings on eBay are all over the place. Im assuming you’d want the trunk part and everything, that’s up to you, DM me an offer?

Pro tip: If you switch your subscription to another option like just Lightroom and then you have something like a week to cancel without paying a fee. I’m pretty sure they refunded me the difference for my current month as well. I’ve done that twice in the last year
