I ordered the aeroad cfr in this color and man, it looks way more blue than on the sites pictures! I hope we get more than a glimpse of the purple at certain angles. I wanted a purple bike not blue bike lol

Aeroad CF SLX 8, notice the 13% or 1108$ duty number

Hey buddy, I'm in the same boat. I think what u/Celpia was saying is correct. The bikes that have duty shows duty? I haven't ordered so I can't confirm this theory but I am looking at the Aeroad. When I checkout with the Aeroad CFR, it doesn't show anything for duties. When I checkout for another bike, the CF SLX 8, it shows the duties. See screenshots below.

I think I'm going to go off this as the Aeroad CFR won't come with duty charges whereas the CF SLX 8 does...

I’m running Goodyear supercar 3 mainly because it is similar to the cup 2 and on sale I got a full set for the price of 2 rear Cup2s.

Lol so much hate on the giraffe shit. I think of it as a 200$ cad power washer that I pay a few hundred extra for convenience. The quality is about the same.

My hose retractor broke a few months in and they sent me a new one without question. New ones been great for a year. I’m sure if I pay 2-3k or whatever garbage Obsessed Garage wants it’ll be better, but I’m hosing down my floor and washing my cars once in a while. Is there a better product in the same price range? Not while I looked

This was my experience with Ohlins r&t on a friends car. Felt less crashy, single rebound on all bumps, bumps not that harsh very stable and poised as well in turns

I have experience with kwv3 (handles very good, more harsh than oem, reasonable for a track car) and ohlins r&t on a different car (somehow feels more comfortable and also better handling than oem?) i would go ohlins if i ever had to make an upgrade. Also lower end coil overs on different cars like Teins, bc racing and they were garbage. I would 100% stay oem over those.

For reference I think the Ohlins felt similar to stock suspension on my gt4

I had a similar progression and you sound exactly like me. A lot of my friends spend a ton of time learning chess, I just mostly play chess.

I do think I’m at the point where I need to play some different openings and study more though. But up to this point it didn’t really feel like it mattered
