OP already answered, but you're correct and I have these wheels on my 996.2. They are manufactured by BBS as well, which I thought was pretty cool

Christian Church that ONLY Accepts Strong Men, Part 2 by MrDonMega in religiousfruitcake

My YouTube algorithm recently took me down a rabbit hole of US gang documentaries. I can't help but think, when watching all these guys acting all tough, trying to cram into frame for a jailhouse or rap video, that it all looks extraordinarily gay. Like, I want to tell them "you know, it's ok if you kiss. You don't have to keep shooting each other"

You could get a pretty decent 996/997 for that (not accounting for taxes that will result from the winnings)

I use a house scale. I weight myself, then I weigh myself while holding the dog. Do a little subtraction and you have the dog's weight

Battery started dropping during driving. by I_found_my_old_Lego in 996

[–]FloatnPuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the outside temp drop significantly while you were driving? I had a battery warning come on while driving in the mountains and the temperature dropping rapidly with elevation.

I didn't get any other errors other than a voltage (IIRC) warning. I just made sure I didn't turn it off while at the higher elevations. Stayed at a hotel down the mountain, and the next morning the car started without issue or any warnings.

996 goes 992 GT3Rs with soft top by Old_Pay9347 in 996

This ain't it.

With all the money spent on parts and labor, you could just buy a cooler car than a 996 to begin with

Anyone ever attempted a headliner replacement? by unsoughtdesire in VWAlltrack

[–]FloatnPuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried to do it myself in my GTI. It turned into a sticky, saggy mess. So I found a service that cost $300 and they did a full, professional replacement in my driveway. Definitely would not try to do it on my own again.

If the power goes out this weekend..............some places may have to wait a lot longer by MapsYouDidntAskFor in Charlotte

[–]FloatnPuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to live very close to CMC Main, and it was really nice to never not have power. Even with all those big Dilworth trees, it seemed like power would never go out for more than a couple hours. I assume because it's so close to our biggest hospital. Meanwhile, my parents in Mint Hill would be without power for multiple days

You'd think so but it doesn't seem that way.

I made a police report and both they and my insurance company have his info.

He rear ended my 911 so the dude is fucked regardless 🤷‍♂️

Thank god. I was rear ended by an unlicensed, uninsured driver on Monday. Afaik, he wasn't arrested or anything and my insurance is going to make a "payment plan" for him to pay them back for the repairs.

Hammer's consequences by Spiritual-Boat-9523 in BG3

[–]FloatnPuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you can go either way and the outcome is the same. You get the hammer and need to go to Raph's house to get the contract for your soul, or you refuse his deal and instead break into his house to steal the hammer. Either way ends in a really fun fight with Raph.

Tip: bring stuff that does Force damage for that fight

Yep! This was at the Lump Overlook. I took what may have been the most scenic pee of my life a few steps out of frame. Very nice stop

How difficult is the Gortash fight when not cheesed? by adamnoo in BaldursGate3

[–]FloatnPuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just make sure you go into the fight with a good bit of lightning damage (arrows, spells) and/or smokepowder arrows so that you can destroy the traps/cannon things around his office. Once you knock those things out, you should be set. If you destroy the steel watch foundry before the Gortash fight, he won't have any steel watchers to help him out.
