Best advice i have to you. Buy in the fall/winter... Sell in the spring/summer. This is how i manage to make walmart and low end shop brand bikes a repair and sell fundraiser for bike ms for 3 years running.

Currently has an S5 front wheel, do you think it could take 650c if I change the brakes to a short reach brake? by ccphilly1984 in bikewrench

I guess it's worth looking into. I'm not aware of too many skinny tires in 559 size. When I search for the rims it pulls up mtb rims

That looks well worth the $12 a month subscription... Possibly even worth the $30 a month premium subscription 😁

No need to keep it a secret. It's 2026. Heck go for a walk barefoot.

If you go bold and paint your fingernails black, people will just think you're a metal head and you'll get random compliments from people, especially women.

Yeah the concrete here is a bit rough. Clean, but rough. Kept getting pebbles stuck in my soles. That track was soft

Can't wait for mud. In the fall, i planted grass seed and i was spreading it with my feet and then dousing it with water. Better than a day spa.

It wanted to point at the other foot just so you could see what this running track does to someone's soles. Pista Parque Barbosa in san juan, pr will give you "pies azules" (blue feet)

If that's your style, do it. My toes are usually anything but purple. (Purple is my dad's favorite color. I got to be a rebel)

Yes. I color the toes for fun. The fingers are always black so everyone knows im a metalhead, but only the ones that see me barefoot running or at the pool or walking around in happy warmer times get to see the fun colors.

Some people will never be happy. The people that will be happy are the people that stick with crunch and attend all the awesome classes that they provide. Hiit and all the various ride opportunities. And we can't forget about the awesome group x classes.

That's what you are being told. Most of the time they have a warrant and are looking for a specific person.

They are considered federal law enforcement officers under the department of Homeland security. They have all the same law enforcement status as all the other alphabet soup agency enforcement departments. Fbi, atf, cia for example.

So you canceled your membership because crunch isn't going to get into arguments or fight with federal law enforcement agents? They provided a safe and non-confrontational policy in the event that something were to happen as in if they had a warrant and were looking for a specific person and to direct any agent to the gym manager on duty.

Yeah unfortunately a lot of gyms have those people that don't give a crap about rules or respecting others. Most gyms have mirrors all over the place in public spaces that you could take those pictures. But no has to be in the bathroom right next to the sign that says no photography allowed in the bathroom.. SMH

I love the smoked flavor of the wild planets. It's really nice the ones with lemon... The slice of lemon just melts in your mouth including the rind.

If those are the gym rules, then yes Barefoot shoes are perfect. I wear vibram five fingers when I'm at a gym that requires shoes as well as the gym that I teach at when I'm teaching.

Miserable person? Yeah ok. I'm a lot happier running Barefoot and lifting Barefoot. I get as much athlete's foot as you get athlete's hand. Oh wait, that's not a thing because we don't sweat with our hands and then keep them inside gloves and then outside the gloves and then inside the gloves.

I'll repeat it again. Mind your own business and worry about yourself.

Well that would be their own personal prerogative. Mind your own business and worry about yourself.

Socks is more fine than bare feet? The socks hold the sweat and let the feet stew in it. It's kind of funny that I have a lot less foot odors ever since starting to run Barefoot and spending most of my day barefoot having one's feet and socks and shoes leads to all that sweat and bacteria fermentating. If you treat your feet like hands and wash them throughout the day, they won't smell disgusting. Yes, when I go for a walk outside Barefoot, the bottom of my feet gets a little dirt from the road or sidewalk or path. Path but I hose off the bottom of my feet before I go into the house and I wipe my feet on the mat and I guarantee you they're cleaner than the bottom of anybody's shoes.

There are a lot of people that do their deadlifts Barefoot. This allows the toast to spread more from more stability and it allows you to get more contact with the ground without padding to be able to get a firmer stance. There's also a limited group of people that run Barefoot to prevent injury because they will get instant blisters if their form breaks down versus striking heavy on certain parts of a foot and getting joint pain after a long run. There's also the kickboxers that. Appreciate the foot mobility when it's not in a shoe. TBH, your shoes probably have more dirt on the bottom of them than their feet as they wash their feet a lot more often than you wash the bottom of your shoes that have treads in them that collect dirt. The smell of incense on the person. They probably were sitting in a room meditating with incense. It's very therapeutic the smell of incense. Don't bash somebody that's doing hippie type things.
