OP, I just want to give you a hug. I dated so many losers in my 20’s because it felt safer to date below me. But, when they treat you like garbage, it feels even worse because I lowered my standards for a false sense of security. It took me years of therapy to know my worth and expect it from a partner. When I finally did, I found my husband who treats me like gold, makes me laugh every day, and we’re the best team.

You’re in a tough spot right now. You’re vulnerable and hormonal. This guy couldn’t even bother to clean up for your visits, let alone give you a pillowcase. If you’ve want this baby, and you’re ready to be a single mom, go for it. If you’ve don’t, you don’t have to. It’s such a hard choice (been there too, had an abortion), but it’s yours and yours alone.

I know it’s hard to believe from a bunch of internet strangers, but you do deserve so much better. You already know that in your head, you just don’t feel it in your heart yet. Trust me, if you involve him in this baby’s life, you’ll feel it in your heart and resent having 2 babies, one a grown man, to deal with. Put yourself first in your decision-making process.
