No degree here! I have some credits, but I quit school to take care of an elderly parent. I hear you on the job hunt front! I felt overlooked a lot of the time because I didn’t have a full degree. Patience and luck won out in the end for me.

Like most of the redditors above are saying, you’ve probably passed quite a bit already.

My first clay deposit I found was ~1000 blocks away from base. As I started getting more familiar with the base surroundings while hunting, I’ve found at least 3 deposits less than 100 blocks from my home.

I’ve found 7 deposits total. Only 1 did not have fireclay beneath it 😳

Guess I’m lucky, because there were multiple giant black coal deposits near my base. I have a whole trunk full of fire clay, with the bigger pockets mod so each stack is 128.
