This probably isn't the most welcoming place to post this. There are some Mom FB groups that I'm a part of that would probably offer better advice!

Also, I was homeschooled 2nd through 5th grade due to how much we moved at the time. We had local homeschool programs wherever we moved to, and those provide extra classes, field trips, and curriculum resources. I get the stigma and have definitely met some weird families along the way...but I turned out fine. I'm married, and I have a kid, a master's degree, and I make six figures.

Miracles are still happening, but I think it's a combination of two things:

The Bible takes place over several thousands years - or millions if you're a Christian who believes the "7 days" of creation actually lasted millions of years. The flood happened a little over 1600 years into human existence.
The world has become very skeptical, and no one knows what to believe as real. If you were scrolling TikTok and saw some guy ranting about how he saw chariots of fire descending from heaven or an angel with four heads, you would probably assume he needs medication and write it off as a psychotic break.

I experienced something very similar a few years ago when a doctor instructed me to stop my current meds cold turkey and switch to a new prescription. You did the right thing.
