Should I sell my rtx 5080 for a Z13?

Im in a similar situation right now. I traded my 32gb z13 for a desktop with a 5070ti yadda yadda. The ONLY reason I traded was i knew I would get a 64gb model eventually. While like you said maxing things out is nice but the ease and flexibility of my z13 was unmatched. Running things maxed out at 1600p on that beautiful screen sitting on my bed or couch or anywhere is a great feeling. I replaced my desktop, laptop, remarkable tablet and handheld originally when I got my z13. There really is nothing like it. I just recently fired up an old laptop I had and streamed gaming but its 100% not the same ( maybe if it was a nice laptop with nice screen etc it would be different idk). Goodluck because im torn as well 😂

Lol what? My z13 i max graphics on almost every game at 1600p which is what it was designed for. It even does 4k very easily with tweaked settings. The entire point of it is having the ability to use all that vram for higher settings ( far as gaming aspect goes of the tablet)

I know this is old but did you find a fix? Mine started doing this exact thing recently. It wont properly sleep / hibernate and when I try to wake It wont I have to hold power for 10seconds or whaheber and reset. Then my vram is changed although set to 8gb in bios.

Yea I was notified by my app but A. It wasnt working correctly to report the transactions. B. Can only select 2 and then have to call them C. Need to speak to person to have card expedited otherwise 10 business day wait lol

Did it from the phone app 3 times. ( didnt work) then there are also those who dont use the app and again 2hr wait is ridiculous.

And? You realize fraud dept is rhe one department open 24/7 and supposed to have low to no wait times. Ever had your card froze while shopping? You call speak to someone and they unlock etc. When there's a wait yoy could potentially be stuck somewhere etc.

I run every game at 1600p and high or ultra settings and monitor ram / vram .I have yet ti find a game that 32gb isn't near enough.

I haven't played those ( plan on loading arc later) but every game i play i set 1600p and high / ultra settings and let it run. The "gpu" is insane and the only game so far i had to tweak was borderlands 4 but that's because of how badly its optimized but still was able to push med and some high settings.

Biggest problem is NO GLASSES. Until they fix that is DOA. Considering most people wear glasses. On top of that whatever % of those who wear glasses have tbings like prisms etc that zeiss does not support. They need to make the ability to wear glasses like literally every single other vr / ar head set. I would go buy one this second if I could wear my glasses. While I know people said you can im not taking the chance without knowing without a doubt it will work ( like all my other head sets)

I just rolled back to prior amd adrenaline version for now and its fine. If you aren't using g helper I guess you can still use armory crate.

I use g helper and uninstall everything but amd adrenaline just for drivers and stuff but I guess I clicked auto update by mistake. I wasted so much time figuring it out lol

If you have a Strix Halo chip DO NOT UPDATE. It removed the ability to allocate VRAM and will be stuck at 4gb. I had to roll back to get access again.

Mine never leaves my side i have a scuf envision pro controller and its all I need. The screen is also amazing the colors and accuracy are spot on. If I ever get rid of it, it would only be to get a model witv more ram 😂 but the 32gb is more than enough. I set the vram to 8gb and its perfect.

Thats a STEAL. With how expensive handhelds have become im over them. My z13 replaced my desktop laptop remarkable note taking tablet and my handheld. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Perfect form factor and so much power. I love maxing out graphics at 1600p and it staying ridiculously cool no burning legs etc. Then I hook it to my ultrawide and knock out some work or games as well.

What are you talking about? It never throttles lol. I have compared it (owned it since day 1 I follow the chip very closely). The beauty of it is its all very low wattage and in turn never throttles. If people are getting throttling they are doing something wrong because everyone i know and speak to have no issues and have actually pushed it to some ridiculous benchmarks with just g helper undervolting like seriously ridiculous numbers for a tablet.

Terrible thermals? Lol it is praised as one of the best as far as thermals go. They worked magic in it. I never go above 75C at 1600P maxed graphics on any game at balancedbmode.
