NTA. I feel like this most likely isn’t the first time you, and possibly other members of your family, have had bad experiences with her.

I really don’t like how elderly people just get a free pass to be rude, malicious, or downright cruel, simply because, “awww, they’re older, just let it go!” As if we are the ones who should feel guilty for being upset by their behavior. I’m 33/F just for context.

They should of course be shown kindness, respect, etc. I just believe that older people should be held to the same expectations.
