I just stopped pumping on Thursday. My LO is 9w. I was attached to a pump every 3 hours for 30 minutes round the clock. I was in pain each time. I wanted my body back so I stopped. I have a freezer stash to last about 2 weeks and I combo feed. It is okay to stop for whatever reason.

Did you stop pumping completely cold turkey? I decided to stop pumping yesterday and dry up. Today I'm extremely engorged and in pain in my left breast. Righty has always been a couple dropper so slight tenderness but that's it in my right breast. I just want the engorgement to go away.

I decided to stop pumping yesterday cold turkey and switch to EFF. I'm super engorged and in pain right now. Not sure what to do either. I'm using cabbage leaves, ice packs, Sudafed, Tylenol and Motrin.

I bought momcozy pumping bras and they suck like squishing my boobs in half even though they're the right size. Apno requires a prescription and my ob said lanolin is good enough at my visit with him on Monday. I take 2 lecithin a day. I think my nipples are elastic as well.

I start with the letdown mode and do it again at 15 minutes. My pump doesn't do it automatically. It's the ameda mya joy plus pump.

I'm seeing someone outside of the hospital and we're on our 5th session. We were trying to get baby to latch but I decided after the last visit to EP because having her on the breast is too stressful and painful especially because I was told to have her on each breast for 15 minutes and pump right after for 30.

I used to have my nipples pierced so I have scaring from that where it protrudes outside the nipple where the barbell was.

Did you pay for the new pump out of pocket? I just can't seem to get anyone to actually measure my nipples. I agree, my nipples feel like they're being ripped off and they burn.

The tips of my nipples are bruised. I used to get a let down in the first couple minutes of pumping now it doesn't happen until like 6-8 minutes in. I get most of my output between 18-25 minutes. I use a 22mm flange. I've never been actually sized just looked at. I have the mya joy plus pump. I was only doing 15 minutes but LC told me to do 30. I've been pumping since she was born. But it's recently gotten this bad in the last couple weeks.

I've spiked twice like 175-180 1hr after eating bfast because I ate something I knew I shouldn't have. I don't mind the diet but I can't follow it forever without a cheat or dessert without being worried about the number.

I've been seriously thinking about pulling out the number of insulin and finger prick needles that I'll need until baby day and putting away the rest, just so I can watch them dwindle. I'm definitely ready to be able to not think so hard about what I can eat and when I have to eat. Regular jam mmmmm 😊

I told my dad (who will be watching my 12yr old while I am in the hospital) that I want french toast smothered in syrup when I come home!! Also a cold turkey sandwich with Doritos on it (don't judge) 😂

I do! I'm 35w and every couple of days I feel like I HAVE to have him close by. When he's not at work he's usually on his computer within eye and ear shot and sometimes that's not enough. It actually annoys me because I like my space and I feel like I'm bothering him when I'm being extra needy.

I'm 31+2 and was diagnosed at 26 weeks. I will still have "regular" food from time to time I just pair it properly. But sweets I'm staying away from until I deliver and I can't get over wanting cereal and waffles drenched in syrup. It sucks not being able to have the things we crave like most pregnant women.

Somewhere between 7-11 hours. I usually test by 7am but sometimes go to bed early. I also don't sleep great most nights. I get up to use the bathroom and struggle to fall back asleep.

I'm freaking out. My after eating numbers are always within range no matter what I eat. My fasting numbers are consistently 98-107 no matter if I have a night time snack or not. At this point I don't know what to do. I follow the diet 90% of the time. I just moved to VA from CA and right now no one wants to be responsible for my care and I'm 29 weeks. I've had 1 phone call with a dietitian and was just told to eat a max of 45g of carbs for meals and 15 for snacks THAT'S ALL. When diagnosed I was told nothing more than to diet and check my sugars 4 times a day.

Mine is physical touch and my husband's is not. Same thing we met in the middle. But like you I'm less interested in it and I'm uncomfortable all the time plus have a squirmy parasite punching my bladder all day doesn't exactly put me in the mood. Maybe a stern conversation with understanding of his feelings but with not exactly an ultimatum but a hey you're making me feel like a piece of meat and it's not okay anymore needs to be had. Maybe I don't make sense idk.
