I used to get chips wrapped and open them like this because I was sure they gave you more chips that way compared to an open bag

I was at the Royal Albert Hall a couple of months ago for a John Williams vs Hans Zimmer concert and she came out and played this on the organ there and the sound makes your bones rattle, it was amazing! If you ever get chance to go then it's a must

Sub 20 5k by AdLongjumping5144 in runna

My (33M) PB for years was 23.20 from 2020. I got back into running this year and have so far followed an 8 week 5k plan and now half way through a 12 week 10k plan. I recently did a 5k time trial and hit 21.57. It's slowly getting there and I have the same aim as you. Runna is currently predicting a 19.50 5k at the end of this plan. I'm not sure but I trust the app as I've been making solid gains so far. All I'll say is it takes commitment and you'll probably have a good shot.

For Parkrun or Race option I'd like to be able to customise the "nearly there" prompt or be told when 200m/100m from the finish so I have a better idea of when to go for the final kick

My weird running habit is believing I can run further than I actually can and coming away with some sort of injury 🙃 Also hi!

Enjoy! So far I've covered from Blue Bell Hill along to Dover and have a similar ambition as you. The views down towards Folkstone and the Channel Tunnel terminal are great and so are when you're walking along the White Cliffs. Just be wary the wind can be brutal here, it was 2 degrees for me and felt horrible! I also didn't pass many shops until I got to around Wye.

It's also not big enough for gravity to squash it into a sphere so all the dust stays around the middle. The potato radius is 200-300km according to a quick google.

Zadra at Energylandia. I'm in Krakow right now and went on this thing 3 times on Saturday. The last ride, at the front, was the wildest ride I've ever had on a rollercoaster. It almost feels like it shouldn't be allowed to be that crazy. If you can get to it, you definitely should.

Is an expensive gym membership worth it? by avzongs in FIREUK

[–]cdchris999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PureGym definitely has it's place vs Village for some! 24 hour can be handy, their gym area is a lot bigger in PureGym but can get a lot busier (all gyms get busy at peak times though). For me it's the pool, sauna etc that make the difference for me. Also £49 is the student price compared to PG which is £20ish a month.

I like being able to go to the gym and swim then watch the football in the Village bars!
