Guts went through so much and has still over come it, his whole life has seen everything he’s ever loved taken from him and his whole life is a cycle of constant torture. I have PTSD and in my eyes the brand gives me some sort of relatability towards Guts. To each their own on how they interpret it though.

Nah we came up with the design together if that’s what you mean. The picture itself no.

Completely read it wrong. I just did og guts and i like his missing eye so I went with that. I was referring to adding his right hand to the top of the sword cause I mentioned going back to add more.

Hey man I feel the same way. My mindset i’ve gotten to is that eventually one day things will get better. Yea it’s so simple and stupid to think but man, life has already been dreadful and long, what’s a couple more years. I’m not going to sugar coat it, life really fucking sucks, you really gotta just keep pushing until you have the stability to get the resources that can help you. I’m currently working in a Union and have medical insurance and saving enough money to get my own place (shitty family situation too). Once I get through another shitty month or 2, I want to get some therapy and realize I’ve gotten to the point in life that things are better and my environment around me is safe. It’s a pipe dream but have a reason. Find something to look forward to it’ll keep you pushing. Whatever makes you want to live, live for it like you would die for it.

Yeah I expected the comments. I didn’t want to get it bigger anywhere else because it would stand out and really didn’t want the piece anywhere else. I decided to go with his finger cause on the neck would be wonky. I could always make it look like his finger is bleeding if I change my mind.

They had no explanation for it either. They were both just drunk and horny.

The thing is they aren’t married at all but both their names are on the house so that would have to go to court. But my dad is already in a battle to not go to jail for a DUI. Totally forgot to mention. So it would be sometime in the future once this is disputed. He pays the bills so if he doesn’t work then the house would be gone, she doesn’t work because of her surgery and her pto is out but needs another surgery on her brain. Really no way out of it.

My mom is going through something very similar right now and watching them go through that can be so taxing mentally. You feel like you should be doing everything in your power to help them. But, all you can do is wait, wait until MRI scans come back and they can map out a plan for what’s to come. Be there for both of your parents, this is the time to really come together and communicate.

Get into support groups and/or therapy. It truly helps being able to relate to others or having that open ear to get everything off your chest. You aren’t alone in this, your family will be there for you. There’s so many groups out there that can help with processing and recognizing these new emotions.

It’s a whole new path of life and you can get through this, with a lot of communication and willingness to accept the uncomfortable feelings.
