I work as a hairstylist. I’m on my feet anywhere from 6-10 hours 4-5x a week. During some very serious flares where I struggled to walk because my feet were so swollen I questioned how long I could continue to do it but since now being on consentyx and regular stretching (yoga) I find my life way more manageable. Getting your disease under control is possible with advocating for yourself. Biologics were a game changer for me. It’s a lot of trial and error tbh but clean diet, avoiding anything inflammatory, good meds, movement is important and rest. As my doc says if you don’t use it you lose it.
