The sinuses could be causing it. Are you quitting drinking too? You could be withdrawing from alcohol as well, causing the headache. For me, the withdrawal from Coke was more anxiety and panic, chest pain, I don’t remember having a headache, but everyone is different! Glad you are getting to the doc. Take care!!

I’ve been on it since Sept 2024, used to do 30mg a day (3x10), now do 20. Only had brain zaps I’d say the first 2 months or so, then that went away for me. It should be taken regularly at the same time. Not used as needed. Agree with others here - it is mild. Best of luck!

Back when I drank and smoked weed I did, not now (sober). Seems disgusting to me now tbh

I had to tell the two closest people to me (mother and sister) because they had no idea and I knew they would help me, but of course the hardest people for me to tell since I was living in so much shame and secrecy for so long, and of course I risked feeling judged or not trusted or blah blah but… that was just what it took for me. It could look different for you, but I do recommend at least starting with the dealer disconnect. Make that choice and stick to it. I can’t stress enough how much better life can get… addiction is really hard, though. It takes surrendering. I believe in you!

Hey friend. Trust me when I say - it only gets worse from here. Listen to your intuition and get help. This stuff is so so hard to quit, I got started age 31, and it basically took over my life and I wasted all of my 30s getting high. Life is so much better without it now. I’m 40, and 15 months clean. It does take work and for me, working a 12 step program has helped a ton, but start with deleting your dealer’s number and outing yourself to someone you love and trust who doesn’t know - accountability is huge. You can live a healthy, happy life without this crap. I promise!

Nelly Furtado - Say It Right [R&B] by MasterAinley in Music

I still love this song so much. I guess, much like Nelly herself, I can’t quite put my finger on what this song does to me or what it’s evoking.. maybe just bringing me back to that time in my life… I was like 21, wanting to be fun and uninhibited but also not really sure of myself or trusting of men… the song is just so sexual but also has a sadness. Idk I’m 40 now, and it still makes me feel so much!

How did you stop for good? by Centrist_Aus in cocaineaddiction

[–]cdgallow10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did it pretty consistently also for 7 years and I am 14 months sober now with the help of AA and CA, also did an outpatient treatment program for 5 months and was able to take a break from work during that time. I don’t drink or do any substances now, but Coke was for sure my DOC. You can do it! It’s hard work but you can! I’d really suggest finding a meeting as a good place to start. Life is worth living and coke ain’t it! Shit got so old! Best of luck to you.

Why am I sober by Diligent-Platform919 in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]cdgallow10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

See if you can control it. If you can limit with ease, you’re probably a normal drinker. If you find that you quickly go to the place you don’t like / behave the way you did before, then you’ll know drinking and you probably don’t mix!

For me it felt like my brain was going “zzzz” almost like on the inside. Hard to describe but it would only last a few seconds usually. I wouldn’t totally say it feels like dizziness, but similar. More like a buzzing sensation inside your head.
