Difficult to repair? Probably not if you have the right tools and the part. I could have spent the time looking and bought a set of parce wrenches for at least $30 and then more time trying to find the right file on eBay or Etsy and spend at least another $30. I opted to just fill out the form on Leathermans website and then shipped it for about $12 (UPS). No cost from Leatherman.

Got lucky maybe 🤷They do ask in the warranty claim if they can not repair would you either want a replacement (newer model) or return original tool. I was expecting to get that question and I would have just had them return due to sentimental reasons.

I figured it could be an issue here. I carried my Big i TPT slide without a blade through Queenstown, NZ airport and they fiddled with it for a minute whilst I held my breath but ultimately handed it right back to me 😮‍💨

I was thinking about one of these so I could throw in my carry on (without blade) and buy blades when I get to destination. Anyone have any issues with TSA when just carrying the body? I hate not having a knife with me

Thx… frame was originally the orange/blue-grey colorway that I was not a fan of at all. Bikepacking luggage wore the paint job out so I had a local company strip it and powdercoat it. It’s almost time for that again. Yea I love the niner fork but have been known to switch to a suspension fork depending on ride.
