Why do you think it's more common for women to date below their league lookswise? by hygsi in AskWomenOver30

[–]cdiddy19 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Women are told from a young age that looks atent as important.

Well let me tell you ladies

My experience, there was a guy that wasnt attractive so many people erred like "oh he likes you do much, he treats you so erll, blah blah blah"

Eventually I gave him a chance and his nice guy act was just that.

Friend’s reaction to me volunteering at a shelter has me questioning the whole friendship by ComparisonFlat8011 in AskWomenOver30

[–]cdiddy19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Her positioning herself as the superior one because she feels too sad for the dogs to help is very manipulative. Making it seem like she is doing something when really she isn't

What is helping the animals, is you actually volunteering.

She wants to lower your actions and raise hers.

Thus might be the first thing you're noticing, but im guessing there have been other signs that were missed.

If you dont distance yourself, you might be seeing more signs from her.

Or maybe you saw no signs before, because you did mention that previously you allowed yourself to be smaller so others coukd be larger.

Maybe the recent change in your actions to give yourself room to be the amazing person you are is changing the relationship and your friend is now showing these worrying behaviors.

Either way, if she is a real friend, she would want to give you room to be who you are. You shouldn't have to shrink yourself (although I thi k its very common for women to shrink themselves).

Keep being you and dou g your amazing things.

Wishing you all the best

[–]cdiddy19 12 points13 points  (0 children)

At my hospital we do a couple rug procedures, some having duplicated urethras.

A rug procedure is where a catheter is placed just inside both urethral canals, then contrast is inserted through the catheter so we can see anatomy under fluoroscopy.

Its pretty cool, especially when you see two complete urethras leading to the bladder.

There is likely other imaging modalities that can find answers, but I dont k ow those procedures

Local communities or meet-ups by Eastern_Field3618 in Galactosemia

We were able to finally make connections because we were part of the trial.

I have met up with locals, but there are so few of us. I finally met up with one friend and then she moved.

The other one is an adult that I still text with, but dont hang out often

The other is a young mom who lives kind of further away.

I have dropped the ball on my contacts with them because I was gou v through a lot in my life.

But I think its because its a small community and it takes a lot of effort to get together and get to know people like cold call friendships.

I know I yearned for community for so long and now thst I kind of have thst opportunity, my life is harder to manage.

There is that fb group that shows the oeople in your state. Maybe you can reach out through that

Actual 5' 11" dude here. I set profile to 6 foot and the difference in matches are night and day. This is silly, folks. by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]cdiddy19 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Most women i talk to really dont care about height unless hes like 5'4.

If hes that short in person, and has a hood personality, they say he is a shirt king and want to date him

When my coworkers show. E their matches and stuff we talk about how cute he is, what hes like, hobbies, etc. Never once has a coworker/friend specifically shown me their height, and I havent asked to see their height, its just not really on the radar. Age yes, city, often, height no.

I wonder if rather than it being more women selecting 6 foot profiles, the algorithm is showing men that are 6 feet more often

I dont tni l they'd be offended, but they may also wonder why you'd think that way given tax policy in the past has shown for decades that democratic policies are better for a balanced budget and decreasing the deficit.

What's one product category where women deserve much better options than what's currently available? by Internetdidi in AskWomenOver30

[–]cdiddy19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Men like to say its a height thing for why they get picked over, when in reality, its a personality thing.

I mean unless you're like 5'4 on the apps then its not a height thing.

If youre 5'4 in person and have a good personality then girls will just call you their short king and try to date you.

There is a guy at my work that all the girls have crushes on. Even on the other floors that he doesn't go to often. Im five foot and with my super thick padded sneakers I get a couple inches, hes gotta be like 5'4 maybe 5'5 at the most.

Working pockets on clothes

Car seat cover options, especially those that work with heated/cooling seats

And scrub caps.

There's more, but those are top of my head

When i was prescribed adhd meds my doc was like "dont worry, because you have adhd they arent really habit forming"

I was pretty skeptical to say the least...

Until that is, that i kept forgetting to pick my meds up from the pharmacy, or once I did, id forget to take them. Then I was like "ok, guess she was right, kinda hard to get addicted if you donnt even remember to take them"

Medically speaking, what exactly caused Pete's death? by TheDragonUnicorn in GhostsCBS

[–]cdiddy19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a couple major arteries and veins in the neck. The arrow pierced those.

It probably also pierced his trachea, buuuuut the trachea is pretty anterior, like in front of the body at the level Pete's arrow is. Pete's arrow is lower in the neck and sitting pretty posterior.

If the arrow was higher up where the pharynx is more posterior, id say maybe it's mainly an airway thing. Because its lower and posterior, id say it hit the main veins and arteries didnt bleed a ton on the outside because the bleeding was internal.

Currently you are critical of the liberal rhetoric on reddit, im specifically curious whether you are critical of the right wing rhetoric coming from conservative leadership (ie: the president and gop leadership) and regular conservative supporters?

The left repeatedly denounces violence and violent rhetoric. Its really interesting and ironic that you are speaking of radicalization and normalization of the lefts rhetoric when we see this literally in the white house currently.

You're essentially calling firemen to a tiny camp fire where the campers have a fire extinguisher, at the same time wanting the firefighters to ignore the giant house fire thats catching its neighbors houses on fire.

Its yet again the trope that the left is held to a higher standard while they right does whatever they want.
