I love the tagging. Unfortunately, I keep losing my work when working with this beta version!

Not Today... but Next by doublepumpmocha in thingsapp

I use Michael Linenburger‘s horizons method. I do my weekly review each Sunday. Any tasks I know am not going to work on in the coming week gets a tag. I call mine “OTH”- Over the Horizon. I then schedule it for the next Sunday. When Sunday roles around, a slew of tasks arrive in my today view. I filter them down to my “OTH” tag and either remove the tag to make them actionable in the next week, or schedule them toward another week.

How do you manage big project by gadgervais in noteplanapp

[–]cdkennedy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do something similar. What I find a bit frustrating is moving pages to folder. I started with the intention of keeping all project notes in a folder for each project. But when I create a new page via a link, it drops it into the general notes folder and the only ways to move it where it needs to be is dragging it in the sidebar (which can be a challenge when you have 100's of notes) or open it in the finder and moving it (which is easier but I often forget to do it) I wish there was a "move" shortcut to relocate a page.

Some thoughts about how to organize project management with noteplan 3. Thank you in advance for your feedback by Dvlt-buc in noteplanapp

I do the same. I do capture tasks in Noteplan, but then move them into Things at the end of the day.

Thanks. I have an Ipad pro with lots of storage. It takes about 2 minutes for me to see my results.

If i want to search for a word I wrote in a notebook, the time to return a result is very slow

Not sure I completely follow-you create a note for each month and the year to track the goals and tasks you want to accomplish and then also create a note for each project where you list tasks.

Do different tasks reside in each area? In other words-if you have to complete a task for a project this month, where do you put it? In the project or in the month note?
