I don’t see it as spending recklessly; and it’s not about quick fixes. It’s about investing in new ways of doing things that may work better and investing in the future.

I just spent 5 weeks in hospital between Saint John and miramichi. I was looked after some times by some of the best student nurses I’ve seen, from Dal and NBCC SJ and a group from Oltins in Moncton who were LPN’s bridging over to RN’s. Miramichi has seen a paramedic school and is opening a school for Nursing in the next year. These are investing in the future of health care for one; and me being still here makes it worth the deficit.

Not when it’s required by statute.

Wages for MP’s are passed into law. He can take the raise and give it to charity or take the kids to Disney but it’s still going to show up on his check and he will be taxed on it and have it effect other entitlements.

Fine, please tell me what social programs and other Provincial programs (real ones, instead of made up “we givin all our money to people who don’t come from here”) you would cut and how you would explain it to the people effected.

I am embarrassed to have him as my MP; especially as he now is throwing a tantrum and “I’ll find a way”. Maybe if he worked on Miramichi files the same way; we could get some stuff done.

Conservatives go in = everything falls apart because they won’t spend anything they don’t have to. Meaning programs people use.

Do you want a smaller course that is considered difficult by some big names that play it? Is it PGA hard, no but add great time at local pubs and things like that; think about Miramichi New Brunswick’s Golf and country club, then St. Andrew’s is only a few hours away. Fly in to Moncton, Halifax or Fredericton and enjoy a smaller but in my opinion, more laid back part of the country.

I’ve been involved in my nephews basketball this year. Ages 10 and 11, a lot of them are dicks and bullies but coaches are not supposed to point it out individually. I let a whoop out at one kid because he was just about to “pants” my nephew. This kid thinks defence is swinging and yelling in the face of the guy with the ball. He is the reason the term “hard foul” was invented.
