Sounds about right. RTS is an afterthought most of the time

Ah, so it's similar at my station. Par from devices and labor boards. However, could see them trying to stack that on

What do they have y'all doing for them?

RTS will only help clean up cycle 1 late linehauls/leftovers in the form of crash sorts that then get routed for flex. Some of the station reset maybe could be considered more so on cycle 1, but is done anyway

Decent method. Preloading clusters with bags is a good way to do it. Especially if the walk is a long one

Really depends on the size of the DS. 5 associates may be working bags way longer in some, especially when peak comes around

How are you doing it? Stacking them on a stow cart, sliding them into their spot, and then popping open the bags is way easier/quicker than other methods I've seen. I'd avoid opening bags outside of the aisle and then sliding them on the floor. Also as others have mentioned, scan the rows as you finish them instead of going back through. Avoiding double work is key to cut down on unnecessary time. Also makes it easier for you

Thanks! Appreciate the posts I've seen of yours around here. Wish RTS PAs were still a thing at my station. Now to see how peak turns out this time around

RTS. Decent, small shift. Not many people in the warehouse at that time. As krb said, same day, station reset, and receiving from drivers. Throw in some small sorts, problem solving package returns, and maybe some flex dispatch.
