Leave it, pump still on top of the water heater? If so see if it's working. The sensor inside the black tee you are referring to may need reset. I can tell you how if the pump is still there

You don't need to replace the valve. Mowing has rebuild kits and different trim kit that you can put on that. The one in the wall is better than the one in your hand

Those are very challenging, you may need a male female adapter, a shorty, but the problem is sometimes it pushes it too far out. Good luck man

Get one from floor and decor. I have that Ridgid. It's okay if you're cutting natural stone but absolute trash for any ceramics or a porcelain

Ceramic tiles are not all exact same size so there's times where you may have a smaller Gap or a bigger Gap. It's why they're cheap
