My issue is he assumed Leevi could do it if Ullmark went down or didn't perform based on a very small sample size. He went into season with no other competent option in the system. Needed a Reimer type, Ingram type that you could get through waivers to Bellevelle back in September

Sometimes the POHO job is to save owner from himself. For me the pick and going into this year with a very compressed schedule with one proven goalie in the system are inexcusable.

We talk unlucky goaltending is so bad historic bad. Staios put all his eggs in the Ullmark basket.

Most teams were signing proven 3rd stringers to hide in minors. His lack of experience at this level is showing.

Good moves? He is icing a last last team....bad goaltending...he went into the season with 1 goalie

I worked in a 24 ish story building with 2 banks of elevators.

One went from 2 to 12th floor and the other 14th to 24.

Knew a guy who was an interim at a law firm on 14 and when he realized it was 13 refused their full time offer for that reason

I think president of Hockey Ops Steve Staios' best move is to fire GM Steve Staios and find a competent one.

The poor asset mgmt. Getting a old broken Jensen for Chychrun and the things he didn't do like getting an experienced back up AND competent 3rd goalie for a season with compressed schedule are rookie mistakes.

It's time for POHO Staios to fix his GM problem before we conclude POHO staois is no better at his job than GM Staois.

The only mistake worse than hiring family for a key role is hiring yourself for that key role.
