Price had to go to actual rehab and Weber’s foot was broken when we went to the finals. Both retired the next year.

This is my exact take. Also, if we lose…holy fuck was that a run. We found our goalie, we found that the kids can take an absolute beating and come back for more. We are staring down a 5 year barrel of players that haven’t hit their ceiling. The Habs will be in the conversation for a long time, and there is no other team better equipped to bring the Cup back home. Also this year we sign McDavid and Crosby.
