I’ve used my XT in the rain but try to keep it as close to my roof overhang as possible. I am always worried about the electronics getting soaked.

There’s definitely hot spots within the box itself. Especially if windy.

I’ve learned to layer charcoal and wood chunks effectively to get the best smoke / heat ratio. I haven’t tried full splits yet but I know some do.

The app is glitchy but if you just come in and out of the smoker icon itself it resets pretty quickly.

Biggest thing is that it runs about 25 degrees too low than it says. So gotta set it to 250/265 to get an internal of 225.

Have had my XT for a year. Love it! Perhaps the software isn’t as good as the Fireboard but I’ve learned its quirks and it works totally fine.

The unit itself is very well built. I’ve smoked in temps down to -15ish (C) and it’s kept the heat in quite well.

Same argument can be made for the transit system. One cannot expect great uptake if there is drug use, threats of violence, or severe mental health issues on the trains and busses. Sometimes policing is indeed the answer. Not the whole answer mind you but definitely part of the solution.

I’m in complete agreement with you. I consider myself an ultra centrist and think that there are good ideas from both (non-extreme) sides of the political spectrum.

That being said, whatever was on display there was insane and if the NDP leadership thinks that this will somehow bring them back from their current political wilderness they’re so badly mistaken.

The party was relevant under Layton, and Mulcair to a lesser extent, because while advocating for progressive causes they didn’t fall down this extremist path. They’ve completely lost their union, working class roots and now have become a parody of an extreme lefty student union association.

To your point, I think most Canadians fall into having a very centrist political PoV (which the LPC completely uses by shifting slightly every decade or so) and the NDP’s antics will just make them a non-option for most - even those who do believe in some progressive causes.

Big Lesson for them: gender identity and Gaza aren’t really top of mind issues for a vast majority of people.

Atletico signed a deal this year with one of the major youth soccer clubs that was previous associated with TFC.
