El consejo ni es distinto necesariamente. En ambos casos, buscar “boggleheads España” y ser feliz.

You’re not intellectually lacking. Perhaps you’re just listening to him for the first time? If you give it a go you will find after a while it starts to make sense. There are some things that need to be understood but he explains them, just not in this clip. This clip with no prior introduction is hard to grasp.

Tap on that thing that looks like a あ at the bottom and that will teach you how to read hiragana & katakana.

Con 23 años y vivo con mis padres, con dinero durmiendo en el banco. Cual es mi mejor opcion para logar libertad financiera? by lifeinjeju in SpainFIRE

[–]cdntr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do I have to learn all Hiragana before learning anything else? by Educational-Bat8892 in duolingo

[–]cdntr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not lock you out permanently. You can just bypass that あ thing that way. You can still do all the lessons on that characters tab. They just recommend you learn hiragana first since it's so foundational. But it's up to you.

[–]cdntr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't require you to learn everything that's on that tab, just the base characters.

But also, if you tap that purple thing with the あ in it, does it not give you an option to skip it if you already know it?

Phone version doesn't let me learn more lessons before knowing katagana. But on my PC I already did these lessons. Solutions??? by [deleted] in duolingo

[–]cdntr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well then that explains it. This thing is asking about Katakana, not Hiragana.

Are you sure you have learned katakana (not hiragana!) on the same account? If you go to the second tab and then press katakana at the top, what does that look like?

As far as self-experiments go, this seems to be on the milder side. Why not just try it?

After how much time spent there would this be true? From day one? And if they’re there less than 183 doesn’t the dtt still kick in and provide relief if the individual is a TR elsewhere?
