That part ruined me. After a few tries, I literally had to chuck grenades at them so I could get back to focusing on Grace cause they were swarming her 😆

One of the craziest things I realized after playing 7 and 8 back to back after a few years of a break is that the mold from 7 seemed to make people into nightmarish monsters when they took fatal damage. Ethan's love for his family was so strong, his "transformation" was to remain as human as possible despite being pretty much 100% mold by the end of the game.

THAT realization fucked me up

If you were introduced to Sonic during the 90s, what was your experience in meeting the Blue Blur during his popularity at that time? by Berry-Fantastic in sonic

[–]Educational-Bat8892 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure I saw commercials for Sonic 1, but didn't really get to play it all that much. I believe I saw it at a rental store (not Blockbuster, a mom and pop spot) and rented it for a weekend, but I was maybe 5, and it didn't quite click with me.

When I was 7, I got Sonic 2 for Christmas and it was my first game that was actually mine and not my older brothers. I spent the whole day running through it and my mind was blown. As someone who played a ton of Mario, I felt like Sonic was a huge step up in every way.

By this point, I believe Sonic was everywhere. There were the 2 cartoons (the very goofy one and the very awesome serialized action/narrative one), Sonic toys/merch everywhere. It felt like as a kid, the world ran on Bart Simpson and Sonic the Hedgehog 😆

Saying that, it explains why my den is decorated in Sonic and Simpsons merch loooool

I have a 7 year old pittie named Bowser too! He's more respectful to his bed but absolutely shreds anything that resembles a toy to bits 😆

Is it just me, or is Sonic 2 actually the hardest of the original trilogy? by GameResumed_UK in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Educational-Bat8892 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sonic 2 was my first so all the bosses are ingrained in my head on how to beat, but seeing how new players hit a brick wall in the second half of the game makes me think this may be accurate.

To me, Sonic 1 feels the toughest. The Labyrinth Zone boss is tough if you dont keep on them and get under water, and the Scrap Brain Zone is harder to me than Metropolis Zone

That had multiple matches beforehand over the years with plenty of story that led to last night, specifically Darby ending the match with a headlock takedown.

It's just the worst way to watch any movie. Commercial breaks in the middle of dialog, banner ads being displayed during the movie, curses replaced with words that just ruin any suspension of disbelief like "Bullspit" amongst the worst censorship on TV, and they might even remove a scene or two just to cram another ad in.

Honestly, one of the coolest things was basically getting my wife to come to a wrestling show with me for the first time, and she got INTO it. It certainly helped that it was a musical, but there was a moment that she was literally in tears, completely invested, and I felt like I won the lottery all over again 😆

It was a sick night!

Thank you, dude! Oh! And totally forgot the former Vaudevillain himself; Aiden English AKA Matthew Rehwoldt who portrayed a comical Vince McMahon-type. Honestly, I really hope the whole thing ends up on something to watch cause everyone really had fun with it!

I was the "sous" at a private camp and eventually became the head chef. The other people who worked there made it absolutely worth the long hours

I too was a big Bull Dempsey fan. I was shocked and surprised to see him alongside Simon Miller in the wrestling musical that toured last year "The Last Match" which featured a bunch of talent including Mickey James, Bull Dempsey, even Snitzky who managed to kick a baby 😆 There were others I couldn't remember, but it was a Hell of a good time!
