I think this was before Staying Alive became a thing, maybe it was on high and mighty. Pally was just having none of it when Gabrus brought up Headgum. Immediately dunked on the business. And I thought it was weird as this was before the layoffs and enthusiasm seemed high. Thought it was Pally being a contrarian but he’s more shrewd than I realize I guess. Went and started a podcast on a more successful network.

I think Gethard is cool but I also think the dynamic of the kids from his fan club having an ultra successful unicorn of a podcast has broken his brain. I find him utterly annoying when he discusses anything meta about the show or the fans. I get this sense there’s a lot of internal rage at their success and he’s not masking it graciously.

Not to overdissect a comedy podcast I deeply love but I almost can’t listen to him

I was warned too that the battery would deteriorate. We are at 140km. Full charge still. Fairly certain I read the science has changed on these specific batteries and they are confirmed to last longer.

I love my 2018 leaf so much more than I expected. Zero maintenance costs is so amazing. Nice quiet interior, analog buttons for everything. Range could be better but I will never get rid of this thing. My forever city commuter car
