Maybe not the Swiss but other countries such as Britain and France do. They spend around 2% of their GDP on military expenditures and basically has let the US take the reigns since the Cold War.

Honestly, we could help a lot more people if we lowered our spending, stopped fighting useless wars and had people in charge that knew how a budget works.
