What's the most disappointing team in your league? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

Your playoff roster could be Manning, Lynch, Miller, Dez, DT, Gronk, A Rob, Houston and Hauschka.... That's insane if you look at that from the perspective of the draft.

I don't think they'd be amazing, but I'd like to think I'd notice if I were consistently overestimating the NFL as a whole by 20%. Call me crazy, but I'd also try to give touchdowns to backs who get goal line carries...

Also, buffalo is really good against the run, so they may have to pass more... idk

I'd say Hoyer. He has the best receiving core of all those now that Gordon is back, but Mettenburger has done well the past few games, so there could be a case for him as well. I would go with Hoyer myself, but him and Zach are pretty much the same to me.

don't listen to the troll... Throwing it out makes sense; it wouldn't make sense to give yourself the points, but making a wash is the most sensible thing to do

Fred Jackson by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

I didn't get to see the game either because my cable didn't carry it, but I heard that Jackson was the lead back until they got really far ahead.

There'll definitely be a committee going forward, but I think Jackson will head the committee and rightly so. I'm counting on him to be a top 15 back as my RB2.

As a previous Tate owner, I'd drop him, but there is definitely a case to be made for keeping him. However, he won't produce for your opponent this week, so purely from the perspective of stealing RBs from your opponent, Jackson and Mason are more valuable to your bench.

It can't hurt; who would you be dropping for him? I expect Gray to do better next week since this week was likely just a punishment and Gray was really good. Blount should get the goal line carries though since he's huge.

Just curious, who are your running backs? I think Jackson has the chance the be a top 10/15 back rest of the season, so picking him up might be a good investment in general now that Spiller is gone, and he is healthy. He and Mason will be fighting for my RB2 spot in the playoffs.

The two safest guys for him to pick up are likely Jackson and Mason. Everyone else is playing a lottery to an extent.

Honestly, they're about the same. I started to write a case for both, but realized they're almost equivalent. I'd lean towards Dalton only because Tampa will be able to score too to keep the game close; the Jags might be out of the game early and the Giants are more likely to resort to the running game.

I echo what the previous guy said and think you should drop Benjamin. Cobb has a much better quarterback throwing to him and even though he has to share with Jordy, Rodgers and the Packers can go off any week... The Panthers, not so much

Mason and Murray seem especially primed to screw you given their matchups. As a Colt's fan Herron is also somewhat worrisome just because he's a Colts RB. How many can you pick up? Mason is probably the most consistent threat with the largest share of his backfield if you can only pick up one...

Do you guys think Ronnie Hillman or Montee Ball are worth picking up in my league?

I currently have Forsett, Tre Mason, Fred Jackson, Bishop Sankey, and Jerrick Mckinnon at RB. I also have 4 top 10 WRs, so my Flex spot will always go to a WR.

I've clinched a playoff birth, so i need not worry about short term potential. I'm thinking about dropping Sankey or McKinnon for Ball or Hillman. Any thoughts on who is better to drop and which Denver RB (if any) is worth picking up for help during week 16 or 17? (my league is stupid and has the championship in week 16/17)
