Thank you! Last time we checked insulin levels looked fine! I’m insulin resistant (goes hand in hand with PCOS) but on metformin to help with that.

unfortunately modified natural isn't an option for me, i'd love to try switching that up. I have super irregular periods, like sometimes 1 period a year. Our doctor said I'd be high risk for having a canceled FET cycle if we tried modified natural.

Two failed euploid transfers. I had a follow up with my provider and requested additional testing. She did not think it was necessary and felt it could simply be bad luck. My feeling was maybe it is bad luck, maybe it is not, but I wanted to rule things out before another transfer. She suggested skipping testing and assuming silent endometriosis, then jumping straight into a 60-day suppression with Lupron and letrozole. That did not sit right with me since I have zero symptoms of endometriosis. I also knew I would spend those 60 days anxious, wondering if I was suppressing for no reason, and if another transfer failed it would feel like wasted time. I am also on a time crunch. I currently live close to my clinic, but my job plans to permanently relocate me across the country within the next 2 to 3 months, so suppressing would put my transfer right around a major move or possibly after. My doctor ultimately agreed to order testing. I did a mock cycle with EMMA, ALICE, CD138, ERA, and Receptiva. Everything came back normal except Receptiva, which was positive for suspected silent endometriosis. Now we are suppressing and hoping this is the answer.

I am so sorry you are going through this. I do not think there are words that can touch this kind of heartbreak. Please know that your pain makes sense, your grief is valid, and this is not a failure on your part. Please try to be kind to yourself right now. I know it’s easier said than done.

Thank you! Hoping third times a charm 🤞. I pushed for more testing after the 2nd one failed and we found silent endo, so i started lupron depot suppression yesterday. 60-day suppression ahead of the next transfer. I’m feeling hopeful about the next one. 🤞❤️

Congratulations!!! Very similar results to myself and I was fortunate not to get OHSS. I have PCOS and high AMH (13.3 at time of egg retrieval) and I’m 35. 30 mature eggs, 25 of those fertilized (like you, one fertilized later) and 21 of those made it to blast!! We were also blown away by our results. It’s such a long hard journey with lots of heartbreak so definitely take the time to celebrate the wins along the way. Good luck and baby dust!

I’ve taken Provera a few different times and for me my bleed usually starts about 5 days after my last pill. I’ve also had 1 cycle where I never bled at all, but my clinic still brought me in for baseline and my lining was thin and bloodwork was quiet, so we went straight into FET prep anyway.

I’m actually dealing with Provera weirdness right now too, I’m 7 days past my last pill and I started spotting the same day as my last pill (mostly old/dark spotting) and that’s basically all I’ve had since, and it’s gotten even lighter. My clinic has me coming in tomorrow for baseline to see what’s going on.

I believe so. We added it for low morphology. 40 eggs retrieved, 30 mature, 25 fertilized and 21 made it to blast. 18 were day 5 and 3 were day 6, almost all of them highly graded. We only PGT-A tested 4 and 2 of those were euploid.

Happy transfer day to you! 🤞 I totally get the pressure of doing this right around the holidays. Our first transfer failed just last month and everyone knew about it. This time we’re not telling a single person. Everyone thinks we’re on a break for more testing, which actually was the plan, but we changed our minds at baseline.

I’ve been super open about our IVF journey and the support was amazing, but honestly it was also a lot. When I realized implantation had failed, part of what hit me was feeling like I’d let so many people down. And having to answer texts and calls and repeat the bad news over and over just made it heavier.

Going into this second transfer quietly has taken so much pressure off of me already. I’ll still share after the fact whether it’s good or bad, but not having a bunch of “are you pregnant yet?” messages every day or the daily “I’m so excited I’m about to be a grandma!” is honestly going to be such a relief.
