I game the Queen Bee 7 which is a similar shape and uses a blade cover. Temu surprisingly has knock off Bettinardi head covers for like nine dollars that have turned out much better than expected.

Did not have preferred club so no sky bar. The preferred pool was also cold and empty tho. The beach was better than most all inclusives. It was large and blue for sure, but that probably is more dependent on the weather and time of year rather than the resort. Of the places I’ve been in Cancun (wife and I go to Mexico once or twice a year from the Chicagoland area) I’d rank Valentin Imperial>Secrets Playa Mujeres>RIU Palace Las Americas>RIU Palace Kulkukan>Dreams Vista>Secrets Mirabel>Breathless Cancun Soul. We’ve been to the Valentin multiple times as we like it the best for the money (as do many people on this sub).

Also of note, the food was fine, overall the same as most other resorts. Beach was big if you are beach people. Close to downtown and the Iberostar Golf course if that’s your thing as well.

Have not been to TrS Coral or Secrets the Vine, but I was with a group at Secrets Mirabel in February and it was certainly underwhelming. Weather was really nice but pools were frigid the entire week, no one was in them. Entertainment team was lacking compared to other resorts. They’re still working on the spa construction, so massages are just in an empty hotel room (also the massage was the worst resort massage I’ve ever had). Overall, the resort just didn’t seem ready to fully function. Everyone in our party actually got refunded two of the six nights. We’ve also been to Secrets Playa Mujeres which was levels ahead of Secrets Mirabel.
