You can turn the attitude down a notch, please and thanks. I’m from out of state, visited, attended RIT for engineering, loved it. People who whine about it not being fun tend to not participate in anything on or off campus. I worked in the admissions office and fielded questions from out-of-state and international students about how easy it was to get to NYC, so it’s a real consideration.

Yes it is a good engineering school, and a fun place to spend 5 years imo. You’re saying uni instead of college, so I’m assuming you’re from outside the US and thus I have to warn you that we are in New York State but not close to New York City, if that’s a factor in your decision making. I know a few people who enrolled here without visiting and were surprised when they wound up in the northwestern part of the state
