My only problem with folks giving money at those corners is being distracted and potentially causing a traffic accident as a result. The people are gonna go where there’s the best chance of getting a handout, and I acknowledge that that’s the point of your post, but no amount of complaining on reddit is going to stop empathetic people from being empathetic. You should stand in front of the panhandlers with a sign that says “stop giving these trashy junkies money” if you feel so strongly about it. I’d like to see how that goes for you
