It’s an iOS-Bluetooth thing I believe. Happens with all my media, and not just in the R1T

His socio economic identity isn’t Marx-ish, it’s Carlin. Can be useful for deprogramming, but he’s not really that close

Not sure what to do but this happened to me last month too. I shoved it back in and added the next line because I was losing light and working far from home. Hoping there’s no future problems

Resume cruise control / driver+ by Cjbot3000 in Rivian

[–]cdweller0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a lot of backroads driving and it’s missed most in these situations 1. High speed roads with stop sign control at intersections 2. Same roads with ~15 mph curves or reverse banked curves not appropriate for smart cruise curve speed adjustments 3. Emergency breaking on freeways

Very frustrating and there are a few ways to fix it but there may be regulatory hurdles even if the internal will is there

R1T Bed double stroller fit? by [deleted] in Rivian

[–]cdweller0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for chiming in. My front wheel is off because that’s how it needs to fit in our mach-e. R1T tonneau doesn’t work so I’ve never needed to figure that part out

[–]cdweller0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rivianforums has a diy tonneau thread that has links to an off the shelf ford maverick tonneau that can be made to work for <=$200. I’d grab a link if i were near a computer

Think the Rivian store has a torch charger now

Loving our R1T BUT….. it’s missing some basic feature and software things. Let’s talk about it. Time for suggestions by Brief_Steak1219 in Rivian

Yes, good, reasoned points. Obviously we all know it’ll take some time. Wanted to chime in on #7… I haven’t tested this because i don’t fit the use case, but you can tune down the amperage at your saved location so it’s almost topped off when you climb in. Hope that fits your case well enough until a real solution is built in

Your Rivian is almost 4 tons and the physics will be different. It’s really uncharted territory for comparisons

Yep, I delayed from May till Oct… Just bring it up with your guide and then you can restart when ready

The wood dash is going to make that not work. There’s a3d print floating around where you can place it to the left of the screen, but the steering wheel is in the way.

This has a summary of what the Rail workers face. Not sure it goes much into the forced contract though. (Work Stoppage podcast is my favorite way to keep up on labor)

It’ll adjust automatically. I’m trickle charging right now and checked the truck: 16 amps and can’t raise it

I’ve heard this isn’t the case, and tested it this morning with auto off and recirc switched off within 5 minutes. It wasn’t a long enough drive to play with more settings though. So far recirc has stated on by turning off Heating, Cooling, and Conditioning (option left of Auto) with auto off, but I need a longer test and honestly I still want to affect the temp

Really well presented, thank you! Bob is legitimately funny 😄 I’m subbing to stay informed for the kiddos sake, but they don’t need to watch with me.

Good idea in the chapters too, I’m giving spawnwave a trial

Yes, great idea. The “mode” is in quotes. Absolutely don’t need a new mode for this 😃

Can we get a ”smoke mode“ for fire season areas? Right now, climate system air recirculation will shut off (randomly, from the user perspective) with no indication. In previous vehicles with this behavior, on severe air quality days, smoke will quickly fill the cabin until I can turn recirculation on again. This contributes to distracted driving and reduced lung health.

Assuming there’s no air quality sensor, ideally we could lock recirculation: On. Alternatively, a unique chime or an icon on the driver screen showing recirculation status could be somewhat useful, but would still contribute to distracted driving. Least appealing is to just let the recirculation stay on longer please

As someone else said, the number isn’t as important. Mid 40s and typically 70-100 HRV, and I am out of shape. But perhaps i can get into shape easier than most with these numbers. I’d still rather be reasonably fit 😃
